Title: Breeze 1.0
Post by: ya1950 on October 15, 2004, 05:29:20 AM
Pocket Breeze (http://www.sbsh.net/products/pocketbreeze/) is the first plugin I've used that adds functions not available from within TodayPlus. But it's not perfect  :)

This skin adds weather, RSS feeds, time zones, a control panel, and system information to Pocket Breeze. It's based on my Dash skin but I've redone some stuff and added a few new features  :D

The skin and weather icons are too large to post in one file so this post will include the instructions and the skin files. The next post will include the weather icons. The skin uses three sets of weather icons which can be switched by a button found on the weather page. Of course the icons sets can be exchanged for your own favorites but the skin will have to be modified to reflect these changes.

As usual thanks to rbg08 for his OSX skin which gave gave me the idea as well as arbitrajeu, and fishboy. LightMan, Timmy, and LordTwisted all supplied the graphics. Sorry I don't know who made the Accu_new weather icon set but thanks! This time I did use some of Juno Hunt's artwork (http://www.foood.net/icons/index.htm) so thanks again Juno. I'm using WA2 with Juni's wonderful graphics as well as his skin for Pocket Breeze. Oh and thanks to Amit and all the fine folks at SBSH for a very fine addition to my today screen!

Enjoy,

A perfect Skin.  :approve:
This morning, I only have overflown the contribution and thought other TodayPlugins are already here now provided. I must say this but after I have read the contribution now one looks as of Pocketbreeze clone.
The Weather icons has made to Broesel (http://www.ppc-welt.info/community/showpost.php?p=352408&postcount=9) by the way.

Thanks to all :D Just to make sure there is no misunderstanding - the agenda portion is PocketBreeze. The agenda and task sections could be done with T+ but AFAIK there is no way to call the contacts database within T+. Also I don't know a way to have T+ recognize the Dpad in the way PB does. For these reasons I decided to keep PB for the POOM and build a T+ skin around it.

I've been playing around with a version of this skin using Today+ as the POOM section instead of PocketBreeze. Although I can't replicate all of PB's functions I can do agenda, task, countdown pages as well as some filters and maybe a calendar. Here are some very tentative screen shots of what it might look like. My question is - is there any interest in this? If so I'll keep working.

Thanks for the quick reply  :D  Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. That's what the calendar icon on the far left is for!
