A few days ago, I developed a "Bug" in my TodayPlus, and had to unload ! :cry:
I have not had the time to work on a fix, so in the meantime, I loaded some other programs for weather, calendar, tasks, etc., so that I could still keep up with my daily activities..
I tried real hard to deal with the "other" programs, but realized that there is nothing that compares with our TP !!!! 8)
Well, I finally got to work on the issues today, and found that some files in TP had become corupted.. I replaced the files, and loaded TP, and I'm back up and running again !! :D
My temporary loss of TP has made me realize (again), that there is nothing else out there as good and efficient !!!
I was reminded that "You don't realize how great somethings are, until you no longer have them"
With that said, I just have two more words for TodayPlus !

The same here. Before I'm used TD+, I worked with Battery Pack, Journalbar and so on. In December 2003 I tried out TodayPlus. Since this time, I'm a TodayPlus user without any other TodayPlugins.

About a half year ago I've tested ALL the pluginns I could find on the www. But all those programs together could NOT give the things TodayPlus gives in its own.

I have to agree. There simply is nothing out there STILL that will give us the "warm fuzzy" we get from out TodayPlus program. And YES, it usually does take a crash or something sever to make us realize it. I know I've been EXTREMELY busy over the past couple of months but I'm still very happy that my TodayPlus keeps rocking on. :D
I had the same thing happen last Thursday. But, I thought it was some other buggy software that I had loaded to try out. Once I removed that program, I could not get TP to display on my today screen. I could run the exe and it looked fine there, except it would not update. I tried reloading TP, but that did not fix it. I restored all from a Sprite backup, which has never failed me before. Still, same story. Blank today screen. I was about to ask you guys for help when I tried removing all TP traces and reloading. Voila, it worked. Then I restored from a good back up (removed the buggy software again) and all is fine now. But it was strange....
So what ?
Of course I'm using TodayPlus since the beginning and yes, I did try
other plugins like weatherpanel, PocketPlus, PocketBreeze and many
others.
No one of them is as customizable as TodayPlus and no one is as
skinnable as TodayPlus is. And no one has all the features ....
and no one is as perfect (in a Beta-Status ! ) .......
O.k. I'm stopping now .....
As long as TodayPlus runs on my ppc, it is my choice .... :D
