Logika Complete skin v0.10.0

This version of Logika Complete will only work properly with TodayPlus v0.10.0 or higher.  Lots of changes/improvements in this version.  Added a System Monitor bar to the bottom of the skin.  It can alternate between displaying Battery/Memory and Storage Memory, with icons.  There is also a Brightness icon in the middle of the bar.  All icons can be tapped to bring up System Settings (links in config may need to be altered on different PPC's).  A few of the memory icons are modified from ones created by LightMan.  I've also added a permanent refresh button.  The RSS pages can now Auto-Scroll.  I have also disabled online/offline links for Yahoo pages (these pages don't link correctly).  The Weather section will display current conditions if TP data has been updated recently.  Otherwise, it will display the current day's forcast in its place.

Enjoying the new skin!

In the calendar section at the bottom, I guess I'm not understanding the filters.  

I think:

1)  1 corresponds to Agenda
2)  2 corresponds to Tasks
3)  3 corresponds to "Countdown" Only
/    / corresponds to minimize calendar area

It seems only the tasks (2) category is displaying "correctly" for me, but as I said, I am probably misunderstanding something.

The agenda section (1) does not display my upcoming appointments, just a random list of upcoming tasks and I think one appointment that had NO category assigned to it.

The countdown section (3) does not display items with the "countdown" category assigned.  I reported this in the last version, but believe there is still a program problem there.

Anyway, if you could please explain how I can simply get ALL appointments and, if room permits, any tasks to show in category (1), I would appreciate it.

Glad you like it. ;)  I have the Agenda section set to display both appointments & tasks.  To set it to display only appointments, change the following number in region 2,0:

outlook,2,1,238,66,0,0

to

outlook,2,1,238,66,1,0

I don't have any appointments or tasks with "Countdown" as the category, so it displays time until my next 5 appointments.

If those suggestions don't fix your problems, make sure your config.txt file contains the same filters as mine & that you are running TodayPlus v0.10.0.  Hope that helps. :)

I have Problems with the "Brightness" button. The image seems to be missing in the zip file and clicking on it produces an error message. Seems that the German WM2003 doesn't have the same link to the brightness control.

I've the same problem as Urbanus with the french version of WM2003!
And when I click on the memory icon I also get a msg. error indicating that the shorcut way couldn't be found.

It seems also that the *.bmp images for the memory cards couldn't be found , I only use a SD Card (named "Carte de Stockage" in the french version where will I have to change SD Card with "Carte de Stockage" in the config. or the skin file or both?

In every event , it's a really great skin , and now I'm standing alone with my logika and my OSX skins and don't know which one I will use!!!

The images are there and it works for me. If you have problems with the images you should look in the skin file. But you have to edit the config file to change the "CF card" and "SD card" in "Carte de Stockage" by changing the storagepath1 or storagepath2.

I've made a few modifications to the skin and config. files so now we have a two digit hours for the main time and even for the calendar time , and I've modified (waiting to find another solution) the brightness icon.
I've attached my config and skin files so you can test them!

The brightness image is the one my PPC (Dell Axim) uses for its brightness application.  I believe most PPC's have their own brightness application created specifically for that PPC.  I found the link to mine in the \Windows\ directory of my PPC.  I defined that link in my config.txt file as:

shortcut,brightness,\Windows\m_Brightness.lnk,Brightness

Replace the path I have defined with the correct path to your PPC's brightness app.  If your PPC's brightness app dosen't include a icon, you will have to find one you like, stick it in the Logika Complete-3D folder, and replace the following code at the end of the skin file:

shortcut,116,4,brightness,s

with:

image,116,4,<NAME OF YOUR BRIGHTNESS ICON>,t

Thank's a lot for your help RBG08 and for your great job making so wonderful skins.
It's easy for us to criticize some details of a skin or to praise us with some minimal modifications , but in fact  we are for the most of us completely incompetent to create all the files needed for a good looking Today Plus Home Page!!
So I would like to say to the few you are , don't worry for some minimal remarks on your wonderful skins and continue make benefit us from your great work.

Where can I get the wisbar advance toolbars from. At the mo', I am using Lightman's Elliptica wisbar advance skin, but I fancy changing to the logika skin, and I can't see the .skin file for wisbar in that zip.

Mekon, I use Icbar so I've never created a .skin file for Wisbar Advance.  Others on this forum have created one; maybe one of them would be kind enough to share theirs. :)

All, hopefully rbg08 doesn't mind, but I made a WA Skin file awhile back for Logika.  I actually use a few different custom bmp's, but here is the basic concept:

Simply cut/paste the above into a text file on your pc, rename to Logika.skin and copy to your Logika folder (where all the bmp's are) in Wisbar Advance.  From there you can select to change your theme and point WA to the Logika.skin file you created above.

Keep in mind, you can change ANY of the above .bmp variables above to suit your particular needs.  Just browse through rb's Logika WA folder and pick the best images for your needs.

I have also attached a batt/memory meter that I use with the above skin file.  You can change, or comment out (place a # sign in front of the Battery/Memory line in the skin file) the meter if you don't want it.

I KNOW you are bored, so I am throwing out a request......

Can you think of any space in the current Logika skin where the battery uptime and estimated battery life could be added to be visible at ALL times?   Maybe with an option to minimize, but I would like to have that info handy in a discrete manner.

I'm at a loss as to where that might be, and have no idea where to start anyway.

I'm impressed with your Logika Complete Skin design. I have downloaded and it works with my XDA II.

I'm wonder how should i modify the config.txt and skin.txt if i only need these section only...
1. Weather
2. World time
3. Owner Info.

The rest of the section, i dun really need it as i oredi have those plug-in.

Pls do advise.

The easiest way to get rid of unneeded sections is to erase each entire section you don't need out of the skin file.  Also erase the buttons to those sections (i.e.: // GO TO RSS ) out of the beginning portion of the skin file.  If you erase the Agenda section, you will have to subtract 67 from maxheight and height at the start of the skin file.  If you erase either the Quick Launcher section or the Meters section, subtract an additional 23 for each section removed from maxheight and height.
