Ok I have made the skin LTwisted and it works on ver 0.10.0 and up. Of course i added my battery+ in the skin, and added two more features to it.

1. When you press the uptime text it will bring you to brightness, then if you click the icon it will bring you to the brightness control of you'r ppc. Once you press the uptime text you have 10 seconds to tap the icon. i prgramed it to go right back to the uptime. It is more then enough time.
As soon as SRS gives more options for the brightness slider i will implentment that too.

2. I added a ? icon for when for a coulpe of seconds when the battery is unkown. It looks better then nothing.

Now for the rest of the skin, I like the calendar skin from blazingwolf so i took some ideas from him (Thanks for you'r great work) also the other day I put to gether a request from coolwolf for his skin, where if you click the calendar icon it would replace the calendar  with owner info. so I did that for him. Well it gave me another idea, here is some things that i have done.
 Top reigion:

1. weather icon
2. date
3. 6 quick icons for you'r most used prog's
4. when the icons are not showing it will show Todays temp/real temp/humidity.
5. clock
6. calendar with a button to go to the owner info with picture*
7.  :lol: owner info, has a button to go back to the calendar and it has a pictuer viewer it will rotate betwen 10 pics forward and back and reset buttons :lol:

Here are some pics. I will be posting the skin with all the pics and icons and links toinight. When you turn on you'r ppc the only two regions will show is the top one and batery+. so pretty much with those two regions showing it has all the info right there. I am also working on the other regions, like the poom section there is a drop down in it, thats all i will show for now. it is includded. The posibilites are endless with today+ thanks again SRS.

Here is the LTwisted skin.

I added the config file so it is easer to change the pic's. Put the pics folder in the root of todayplus. And all other pics/icons go in the images\color-3d folder. and the links go in the windows directory. You may have to change some of the links to you'r own programs. If you already downloaded the batery+ and changed the links already don't worry you don't have to change them. have fun and enjoy.

Lordtwisted you have really out did yourself. I love your work. This skin really has every thing in it, this is the only one i will use now. The best feature that I like is the picture veiwer. Your a geinuse.

If you turn off you'r ppc what ever you had showing last. then when you turn it back on it will still show the same thing. But at inaitial startup up (when you first use the skin or when you uncheck today+ and recheck it then it will show the calendar. to change this find this line toward the top:

initvar,var19,1[quote]

change the 1 to a 2 and then on initial startup it will show the info/pic veiwer.

 It's becouse the themes are set up to use difrent colors, the one you show in the pick is set to white, Look for this in the poom section.

My new favorite skin.  Great work.  1 question and 1 problem.

What does the TE.lnk supposed to point to?  I assume it is something in the battery section but the link does not exist on my Dell nor do I know what it is supposed to provide.
When you pull up the calendar in the Agenda section, all of the dates are white squares and do not have the 1-31 in them.  The calendar itself is correct but it is hard to know the date.  I assume this is a bug..

As I posted my note, you posted a reply that answered the calendar "bug" I reported.  Thanks.  Still wondering about the TE.lnk however.

Your tips worked, thank a lot. I''ve made some minor adjustments en this is how my (and your's ofcourse) skin looks now.

I've put the current temp closer to the weather icon and the date, i thought it looks better that way. I've replaced the onwer info with the update time and made a little change on the bat+ bar and the graphics on the quicklaoncher.

Am wanting to get the Agenda section to just display ALL appts for the day (or as many days that fit) but not have any task details showing.
Is this something that needs to be done in the filtering ?

Hmmmm i havent tried it but you can pick out cattorgories like this I have three showing:

calendarfilter,1,90,[Categories] = "General" OR [Categories] = "Business" OR [Categories] = "Holiday"

Replace Your calendarfilter,1  line with mine in the config.txt file.

Yes I noticed that It is already fixed in the new version. but for now yes.
Look for this in the skin file:

changefont,tahoma,23,b
time,35,-1,-1,5,ls,"dddd",
changefont,tahoma,12,b
time,35,19,-1,5,ls,"d MMMM",
changefont,tahoma,11,

change this to a smaller number:

changefont,tahoma,23,b

To say 20 or whatever souits your needs. you can also change the poisting for it. in this line:


time,35,-1,-1,5,ls,"dddd",

The fisrt number is for left and right and the second number is for up and down.

Make sure that you have the correct weather icons in the folder. LT's skin is using the weather.com icons. So make sure that they are located in your weather icons folder. You could also change the skin to use the icons that you like. Change this line:

options,weathericondir,Weather Icons\Washington Post,png

As you can see I use the Washington Post weather icons.

1) What is the 16:37 under my sun - is this the last update - can I change settings so it doesn't display

2) Can I edit the summary from HU:87% to H  87%

3) The double sun - can I display something different to the sun in the top left of the screen - i.e. lunar phase

1.That is the last update time. you can remove it by commenting out this line:
text,23,40,[updatetime],c,l

By comment I mean put a // in front of the line.

2. Yes you can change that. Change this line: text,68,55,HU:,l
This line is in the region 14 area. Change the bolded area to what you want.

3. srs has not included lunar phase yet. It has been requested and hopefully he will add it in. If you want to remove that icon you can comment out or delete these lines:
load,city,1
todayicon,0,-1,,t

Sure. You can put any picture there that you want. The line should look something like this:

1-The analog clock might need the light blue round face, it is invisible on dark background

2-I don't know if it is even possible- having "auto-rotating slideshow". Btw I replaced in the config.txt the pcture name as 1.png,2.png, etc.

3-How do you do to have a "3-d" bezel around your picture?

4-How do I do to make the regions show in my attached screenshot default. (pls give me the region# is enought-I am afraid of messing them up!)?

Click on the icon with the 2 lines to "expand" the menu.

Do you have a folder called Colors-3D in the /Program Files/TodayPlus/Images folder?  Seems like you're missing it.

yes I have. Infact Iwas thinking to delete the previous downloads and to try again...

Just use one of my pic's and copy and paste you'r pick over mine inside the border.

you can do this to have those regions show up on initial startup like this:

initregion,10,999

any initregion with a 0 at the end will show at initail start up, and with 999 at the end they won't.

Yes i created it so when the buttons are not showing there would be something there besides blank space. You can't have both of them showing unless you move one of them.

Make sure you have all the graphics in the right folder's, The pic's stay in the pic's folder in the root of todayplus, all other graphics go in the color-3d folder, ecept the weather icons, they should already be set up.

Some personal modification on LTW skin. Thanks  SRS,LTW for the great work as always!

1-Analog clock face same as world clock face (useful for dark wall paper)
Bold parts are my modif

2-I am using a free picture tool called Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm), to resize picture to W:89, H:69. Irfanview also allow to sharpen image (to show better on small window and use 3-D button option to add a nice thin bezel around for a professional look.
I enlarge the owner picture to 87 x 53, eliminate 2 top line, and use 2 bottom lines from LTW skin just for Name and Phone#

3-As you can see in the screenshot, there is a green separation line between the main page and weather. Actually it is the battery gradient info. I just add 2 vertical red bars to highlight Saturday and Sunday columns of the one-month calendar. Just add in the main region:

When facing down the weather,rss,clock will show in diffrent regions/places, if it's up then they will show up top and replace each other.

I am not sure what you'r saying, you are displaying it on you'r pic.

Try deleting everthing in the buffer folder, and make sure you configured you'r weather in the config.txt file.

When there is no room for the calendar it will not show the calendar, it is programed in todayplus that way.

if you want the icons to show when you start it up then do what i told dhms to do.

The text don't acually disapear it just gets coverd up. but if you move it it should show up, depending on where you placed it, there are spots in the top region where you can't place the text though. can you post a pic and pm me you'r skin file and let me know where you want it. I will take a look at it.

1-Popup buttons as default: (if,var,var26,,=,0 to if,var,var26,,=,1)
2-Temp Temp HU% still have no value (I did clear buffer and resync; my weather is set in the config.txt as shown in my weather region above screenshot)

I think from you'r screen shot the temp is still black, In region 14,0,-1

place this in front of the temp comands:

color,font,225_255_255

That would make the text white.

for the popup I have to look into this.

Just wanted to say a thank you to srs for a great program, and to LordTwisted for a superb skin.

I only came across TD+ last week, and within a day I had removed all my other plug-ins, and began the process of getting everything to suit my own setup.

One of the problems I am having at the moment is getting the pop-up buttons to appear as default after a soft-reset. I followed LT's advice on changing the 0 to 1, but all that achieved was to get the up or down arrow to stick and not change when pressed.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again.

To convert the skin all you do is copy the sections that has changes like in the skin i copied  the weather section, battery+ section, calendar/poom section and REGION 0 - PAGE 0 Date section, REGION 14 - PAGE 0 Button popup. I copyed and pasted the hole sections.

and for the config i just copyed the parts that i have changed. But i think you can use the skin without any changes. I think you can, I did not try it so i am not 100% sure. I will be posting a new version tomorro night with some xtras in it.

Yes lightman, I have that. He is not asking that he want's a link that when you tap it it will bring you directly to the brightness slidder/tab. You would have to ad more to the .lnk file. I have seen one in the brighthand thread a long time ago but can't find it.

Oh, that  :oops: ... hmm I've tried using the "normal" cpl parameters and syntax (in which the last numeric parameter is for tab reference) in order to get that tab to open by default, but I never succeeded :(

I am looking to replace the weather image in the top left of my screen. I am using the LTwisted.0.10.1 skin but cannot find an entry like this:

Also in terms of replacing the image with "yourpicname.extension" how big should the image be and where should I save it - i.e. which folder.

Oh, that  :oops: ... hmm I've tried using the "normal" cpl parameters and syntax (in which the last numeric parameter is for tab reference) in order to get that tab to open by default, but I never succeeded :(

I know, the normal parameters doesn't seem to work.
However I found a 6K exe file that does.

I have not upgraded to TD+10.2 yet on my PPC.
However, on another PPC, I installed SRS TD+ 10.2 and just copied the same skin LTW10.1 and the config.txt that I have working on 10.1. This seems to work OK without major modification
Please let me know should I go ahead and do the same thing on my PPC.

 Yes it does work with really no modifications, but on mine i copied and pasted my parts so i could keep srs's rss feeds and a little other stuff until i creat new ones.
