I tired to do a fresh weather update. For your information, my side is night time now.
After I am done with the weather update, I only got the weather icon on the left side follow by Sun (30 nov) and then its empty on the right hand side.

Does it matter if I update it in the day and night? What I mean is, if I will to update in the day, I will get both the day and night weather prediction. And if I will to update in the night, there's only night weather prediction?
Hmmmmm, either way mine still shows both icons. It could be you'r missing that icon(what weather icons are you using) or it could be sometimes msnbc doesent show all the icons depending on where you live(where do you live) what version are you using?

Nope there's only 1 icon in my sunday's weather region. Singapore is too small to have cities :wink: so I believed a search just on 'singapore' will do.
There is no need for a search, in the config.txt file look for this:

I did a search on weather icons and all of others icon only goes up to 44.
The only way to get all of them is when one is missing, got to msn and see the night icon for that day, and download it and get the name of it like the one i did, 47.gif and then make a new one with that name, becouse the one you download is bigger and doesent have a transparent background.

I've modified it so that it displays 5 days forecast in a row, rather than 4, as you nicely moved the current day forecast up-left. (see screen capture below).
I've kept the "standard" feature that shows a daily detail when you click on a day.
I'd like to get the current weather detail (region 3 - Page 100) as well , but then need to create a button on the current day icon up-left.
Creating the button is okay, and it then displays accordingly, but getting the display back to the five days forecast is then an issue.
I'm not familiar with the programming language used here, so would you have a suggestion ?

Right, it seems that using button,0,0,46,54,3,4,100,1 in Region 0 - Page 0 do create the button requiered and gets Today+ to update Region 3 - Page 100 ok. Then clicking on the Region 3 area gets the screen to go back to 5 days forecast properly.
Nevertheless, clicking accidentally twice on the button get Today+ lost and then unable to get back to the 5 days forecast screen :?
(need to reactivate the Today+ plug-in from start/parameter/today...)
Is there a way to temporarilly deactivate the button defined in Region 0 - page 0 to avoid this situation ?
Found it : deactivatebuttons, <region> & activatebuttons <region> : nice & easy, it's all in the skin code.
Now you can click on the upper-left weather situation to see the details and back.

I think what Alf was trying to say is that the shortcuts under the dates are shortcut apps-1-1 through apps-1-6 in you config file. By changing those, you change the shortcuts of the items below your date.

Most skins follow a similar format, so again I am guessing on an assumption. At the beginning of the skin file there is probably a bunch of "initregion." There is one that represents the Weather region, normally region 1. You should be able to set to 0, instead of 999. Should look like this:

Ok, I figured out that I was missing some stuff in the colors 3-d file. That problem solved, I still have a couple of questions:
1. I sometimes get weird info in the uptime field, like a string of numbers about 10 digits long, instead of the actual uptime. It does not resolve after a soft reset either. Other times, it works just fine. ?
2. The RSS feeds do not go to the web page when connected to the internet. I always get a 'page expired' message, or some other message saying that page is no longer available. Do I need to change something in my config file to correct this?

First qustion, I have never seen that before with the uptime, but with the reset time it will do that once inawile at first then it goes away, but that is in the programe it self. I thought srs fixed that or said something about it someweare.

Thanks LordTwisted. That worked. I have two more questions. I think when I first downloaded your skin, when I clicked on an event or task in the Agenda, that item would open. At some point in all my fooling around that stopped happening and the item would open to either Word or now a screen that says it can't open Agenda Fusion. So I went back and used your skin without any modifications and had the same weird result. What code should cause an item in the agenda to be opened when clicked? My other question is: is it possible to link a document file with a shortcut. I tried putting the path to the document I wanted and attached it to one of the Util tabs, but it wouldn't work. At first when I would click on the little boxy icon to the right of Agenda, two calendars would appear and if I clicked on a day on the calendar that day would show up on the agenda. After clicking this a few times and without changing the code at all, the calendars stop appearing when the box is clicked. Any ideas on what I can do to make the calendars return? Thanks

First my honest compliment to the coders of this Today Plugin, thats what I was looking for...
I've made some changes to the actual LTwisted0.10.2 skinscript (with respect to Lordtwisted, because it's your script) to extend the launcherregion (16) with scrolling possibility (left/right) for each of the four launchareas.
I've reduced the space between the icons for some pixels and used the two imagebuttons in this ares (without any action until now) to make the launcharea scrollable to left and right.
Just enter more option/lines to each of the shortcut areas at the config.txt (I don't know the limitation of the TodayPlus for this). With the two buttons you can scroll horizontal to left/right to use the icons.
Right now, each step scrolls for 3 icons, but you can change it easely at the script to your value.

I've again modified the launcher section, made it smaller in size and easier to handle (IMHO)
Just replace the whole "region,16" with the new source and copy both *.png to your Images\Colors-3d folder.

Thank you very much. All the pictures go in the pics folder. The picture Dementions with border is 89Wx69H and without the border they are 85Wx65H. I use paint shop pro for my graghics. resise your pictures to those dementions with border just copy your picture in side the border and save it as wheatever to the pics folder. Then look in the skin file for this:

It works fine in version 11 you have to use the config.exe file and have sd card the file share then cf card in that order, I f it aint working then it has to do with what you type in the config.

Simple solution. If you're using this skin with 0.11.0, you need to replace "storagepathX" with just "X". So "storagepath1" needs to be only "1", storagepath2 need to be 2 and so on.
At least that's how it worked for me. :wink:

WHat I also found is that the order that you add the folders matters. Whatever you add first is going to be "1", then "2" and so on. So if the skin is expecting the CF card first and then the SD card, you need to add them in that orders.

I burnt the neurons that and it had loaned, rss. Now shows certain the CF and the SD, in the reality after understanding the mechanism is well simpler. I wait new sjin to again break the head, Tks for help!

thanks for great skin- found today+ a couple months ago. installed v10.2 and started thinking 'how did i ever live w/o this?!?!'
upgraded to v11 recently and started using lordtwisted's skin. tweaked a few things but need help. am newbie, but was able to figure most things out thru forums and trial and error. but can't figure out couple things...
1. replaced static calendar at top-right with a copy of 'clickable' calendar found on 2nd page of agenda. moved it down a bit from top, but now the bottom gets cut off (e.g may 04 get cut off at bottom).
2. added another row of shortcuts directly under orig 6. but now, the bottom gets cut off also.
how or what do you change to increase the size of region 0 and what to change so that the other regions (weather, clocks,rss) don't overlap with bottom of region 0.
