I am also a big fan of the "72.9.224.178/~tpfansc" URL to make the weather work on TP+.
However I have got a similar problem as NAS with the Dutch weather. However, the US weather works just fine.
Below are the first lines of my radar.txt
SURL=http://72.9.224.178/~tpfansc/rss/weather.php?Citycode=NLXX0028&SFDay=1&Language=EN
STOR=\Program Files\TodayPlus\Buffer\city1.txt
FORM=
SURL=http://72.9.224.178/~tpfansc/rss/weather.php?Citycode=USMD0347&SFDay=1&Language=EN
STOR=\Program Files\TodayPlus\Buffer\city2.txt
FORM=City1 (supposed to be Arnhem/Dieren, The Netherlands) does not work any more (wrong city code), Rockville (MD, USA) still does.
The problem started last week.
Solutions anyone? Thanks!
GJCV
Same problem with UK cities, UKXX0104 and UKXX0018 which are Nottingham and Birmingham respectively.
Any ideas?

Sorry, to response so late. I will take a look over weekend.
Edit: Weather.com uses different html code in USA and non-usa countries. It will take some time to modify the codes. :wall:

Ok thanks for investigating.
Morpheus
P.S.
I don't know if it helps but Weather.com has a dedicated UK site: http://uk.weather.com/. I believe they also have a French and German site in terms of europe
UK_skinner,
I don't know if it's helpful but I have noted the following:
The HTML pages look very similar (and so is the structure of the HTML code) if you compare the following US versus NL pages
US
http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USMD0347.htm
is redirected to:
http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/local/USMD0347
NL
http://www.weather.com/weather/local/NLXX0028.htm
is redirected to:
http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/local/NLXX0028
How does the script actually extract the data from the weather.com? Does it first download the HTML, which then is processed? Or do you access the weather.com server in a different way?
Please let me know if there is a chance I could help somehow.
Regards, GJCV
Hello all,
Does anyone have the problem resolved???
I still can't download the weather!
Cheers
Pedro Vicente
PS: I'm a bit limited in programation, but if there is anything I can do to help, just ask!!
Any news on a solution to this or an alternative plgin which can replace the functionality. I trued SOMPY Weather but it has the same problem.

Thanks, I have temporarily deleted the weather section from my modded HandyPlus basic skin and installed ADB Weather Plus. Its not as pretty as the weather options available in TP but it does provide a forecast.
I am fortunate enough to reside in the USA, where TP still works. But I'd really like to have this issue addressed :pray:. I am not a programmer, but in case any help is needed, I am willing to help.

Indeed, it would be nice to resolve this issue.
@ Uk_skinner:
If you don't have time to look into it (which I respect), would you perhaps be willing to release the code so that we could give it a shot?
Thanks. GJCV
