Gloss effect

I am working on the VGA Skin and make some experiements with gloss effects on the Images.
What do you mean? Please tell me your opinions.

 Yes, I did feel some of image "floating" on the screen, if that is "gloss" effect.

In the next pic an exmple for Gloss effect. The Button on the top with gloss, the button under this without.

There is one on my device.  I don't see it?  So I assumed you have checked them before you put  on VGA device, right?  If you want, send me the image and I can put on mine to see happened.

I have made the images based on the QVGA Skin at the moment. This Gloss effect is only an experiment  since due to the higher resolution better images are possible. At the moment, I am not ready with the Skin yet, however, will send you a test version within the next days.

The gloss gives it a 3d feel.
