Radar/Stocks Download Problem

 I checked the website, the whole url is : http://www.weer.nl/images/weer/kaarten/nederland/radar/radar1.jpg?&number=548309

There is extra things after radar1.jpg.  It is tricky.  I will see what I can do about it.

Have you tried downloaded this?  Maybe you have some trick?

Edit:  I can download the image just use the url without the extra thing after radar1.jpg using the EzDwonload.  
By the way, the text you posted here was for radar.exe not for any other thing.  That configuration only can be used with radar.exe not EzDwonload or radartest.exe

Note, your radar.exe and radar.txt has to be in the same folder .

 Try this one.  Unzip and you should find radar.exe and radar.txt.  Put them in the same folder and tap .exe to see it can download the fiie.

When I  try (second post, zipfile) I get this error:




When I use EzDownload I put in:

This causes my PDA to 'hang'.

It works perfect on my device and I see you also running WM2003.  

However, I did see almost identical error message if I disconnected my internet.  What internet connection you were using?

I'm behind a corporate firewall, Isa2004.
But I can download / update TodayPlus / etc...

Can you try use EzDownload with this url:

I believed this probably will be due to your internet connection or fire wall configuration.  My knowledge is very limited ragrading this.  The only thing I can think about is to try radar.exe when you go home tonight.  Anyone out there has any idea??

Ok, so I am pretty sure that was due to the set-up of the internet connection.  Does your company allow employee to download file from the internet?  Do you have any PC software that can download the file via http, such as flashget?  The two softwares (radar and EZDownload) are made to "download" file and PIE is to browsing the image.  That is the difference I am seeing..

Yip, we're allowed to download files, but only through the normal ports, ftp and http (20/21 & 80). So I don't see any problem.

I've tried FlashGet and with the correct Proxy settings (HTTP, Username, Password) I can download the files.

Just for your information:
•  When I'm at  home (adsl connection) there is no problem in using Radar.exe or EZdownload.exe.

•  When I'm at work (also adsl, but with some proxy-server protections that I don't understand...) Radar.exe still works, but EZdownload.exe blocks everything on my pda and I had to softreset my PPC.

Sorry for the late reply, but some other (private) things had to go first.
At home it works fine, so I realy think it has something to do with the Corporate FireWall.

If I know more, I'll let you know.
