radar/stock problem

HI there guys ,1st let me thank for this wonderfull programm.

here we go ....I apologize in advance if these poblem as already been gone through the forum but from my search and after reading severel threads it still stands fo me !
my prob is that i cant get the radar.exe working evertime i click it i get this message ;

From time to time I get this message, too. Mostly there are connectivity-problems to an URL or that URL don't give the right information at that time. So, Radar.exe can't do it's work and gives this error-report.

To control this, and to be sure about this:
I have about ten URL to visit by radar.exe. I've removed all the lines, exept the line for one URL. Next step: testing this destionation. After that I typed in the next Url, untill I tested all my URL's. During these tests I saw Radar.exe did it's work, except sometimes for one URL, sometimes two URL's.  Mostly, if I could visit the failing URL, there were some problems on those websites.

That's the explanation for what's happening. But what the exact error message means, I can't tell you as I'm a dummy at this point...

Hi Mamba, and welcome,

Take a look at the radar.txt, this is the file, where you say, what pages
you want to download and where they have to be stored.
Directory not found is your error, so look at the radar.txt, if all
directories shown there are correct. And be sure, the radar.txt is in
the same directory as the radar.exe.

   I would like to welcome you to the forum.

   If you still have problem, you can always attach the radar.txt here and someone can take a look.  When you edit the radar.txt, make sure there is no extrat space and must have a "return" at the end of each line.

Could you please upload your radar.txt here?  There are some common errors can not be seen here.  Just zip it and use "Add Attchment" at the bottom of message window when you typr your reply.

mamba: In every case you have to change the radar.txt
First you have to choose, where you will get the images from (for the first
you can take the images from the standard-radar.txt like you are using it)

But you have to change the path, where the pictures will be saved:

STOR=\Programme\TodayPlus\Images\Radar\3.jpg

has to be in your case:

STOR=\Programmi\TodayPlus\Images\Radar\3.jpg

And be sure, that you hit return after the line has finished !

it worked mate now I have the german weather forecast radar pics nd also stock page .
that was the problem programmi and not programme .

just 1 more thing to make all perfect how to get the radar images for italy instead of germany . ?

just 1 more thing to make all perfect how to get the radar images for italy instead of germany . ?

You have to find a weatherserver that provides such images and they
should be in a size, that can be displayed on PPC. If you find such
pictures, get the properties of the pic, by rightclicking it and select show
properties. You can copy the url of the pic and put it in the radar.txt, if
it is a static url (In radar.txt: surl=). If there is a dynamic url like http://xxxxxxx.14022005.jpg
(like date or also time in the url) you have to take a look, how they have
to be inserted in the radar.txt (there are some examples in that file, like
you use it now like durl=).
