Several Questions

Hi,

i have tried TP for a couple of days now, and find it really a great tool. I have some questions though, hope one of you can help me put;

1. If i tap on the todayplys screen on the small boxed number showing count down or general, i see nothing. What does this feature cover and how do i use it?

2. In the weather view, after having crossed midnight, yesterday is shown as the first day (probably a thing about AM/PM cycles being build in  ? I live in Sweden using 24 hour scale. Is there anyway to having weather showing the correctly timed weather reports ?

3. Is it possible to change the newslocation, e.g. i woul dlike to read swedish or danish news from a local source. How might this be possible to adjust ?

4. In the config.txt file i see an list of shortcuts, pointing at some card location (launchable programmes) , but i see nowhere on the todayplus screen where such shortcuts to programmes can be activated (i see no icons or toolbars hereof). Could you explain to me what this is all about, and how i can use this if possible ?

Lets see.

1. Countdown and general are filters for the POOM section. Countdown should default to all appointments but there is a change in the config you need to make. You should have a line that looks like this: calendarfilter,countdown,360,[Categories] <> "Class" it needs to be changed to this: calendarfilter,countdown,360,[Categories] = "Countdown"  That is about all all I can tell you there.

2. This has to do with the weather feed. Nothing you can do about it.

3. This is the RSS feature. You need to find a RSS feed you like then add it to config file. You can replace an old one or add in the new file. You will need to make changes to the skin file if you wish to add it as a new one.

4. I think you are using the slider skin. SRS did not put the launcher in this version. arbitrajeu made a version with the launcher in it but I can't find it right now. Also, the analog-weather skin that comes with v.9.8 has one.

I noticed that if i change the cities regarding the weather, update and right away go to the internet site www.weather.com looking for the data for the same cities, they do not correspond exactly, temperatures differ 1 - 2 degC, and chance of precititation differ from say  and 20 % to 30 %.

Have i forgotten some changes in a txt-file or are there another explanation hereto ?

I noticed that if i change the cities regarding the weather, update and right away go to the internet site www.weather.com looking for the data for the same cities, they do not correspond exactly, temperatures differ 1 - 2 degC, and chance of precititation differ from say  and 20 % to 30 %.

Have i forgotten some changes in a txt-file or are there another explanation hereto ?

No you haven't forgotten anything. The weather feed actually comes from MSNBC.com. So they might be off from weather.com.

sorry i forgot to reply on your help regarding the general and sountdown not working correctly.

Your suggestion actually helped regarding showing countdown items on this menu. But the "general" still doesnt show anything. Have i forgotten to make some changes - what are the features in general ?

Should the "countdown" menu also show tasks or only the appointments ?
