Merge time and launcher

Last week I found this amazing little program, and now I am beginning to tinker with the skin some.   Personally I dont need to see the different time zones, but I would like to see 2 time zones.  Screen real estate being precious on the today screen, I would like to take up the free space by adding a program launcher.  Is this possible? If this is possible what is the EASIEST way to accomplish this feat.  I dont have ton of free time to learn yet another programming language?

By far the easiest way would be to find a skin that more closely matches your needs in the New Skins / Graphics section and tinker some more - most have a launcher these days.

PLUG: I'm also working on my Minimal skin some more and the watch word is still minimal.  Plan to publish in the next day or so with system info region (replacing Battery Pack 2003), though probably still no POOM.
