Hi guys, I was so enamoured with TodayPlus (just found it today!) that I decided to save a few people who may be a little less technically ept, the hassle and write out a simple (yet sarcastic) manual that will hopefully allow them to get everything working.

I don't have time to finish it tonight (about 1/3 done) but I would appreciate people looking it over (if it is indeed necessary) and posting their opinions/edits. I just used notepad to write it so spelling errors are a huge possibility.

Just give me your thoughts/edits and I will see what I can do tomorrow morning. Hopefully we can have a near complete alpha version by next Monday.

NOTE: the files is not infact zipped, just change the extension to *.txt.

EDIT: Made comment bold so hopefully it will be seen - fishboy.

Great work  bino :D

I have few comments:

QuoteUPDATE: Where can we find the country code?

Check the reference at
http://www.dark-mojo.com/TodayPlus/viewtopic.php?t=3
The latest is
http://www.dark-mojo.com/TodayPlus/download.php?id=140

You will find the reference codes at the end.

You can also refer to the
Skin naming conventions for naming the ids.

Again Graet work, please continue.

Okay - the file is not a zip file! It is a renamed text file. When you download it, all you have to do is change the extension to .txt. The reason I did that was because the computer I typed it on did not have WinZip and I found out that phpbb does not accept .txt files - so I changed it to a .zip. If you look at the last line of my post it says just that.

thanks, very nice work :)

the only mistake I noticed was this line (second to last):

QuoteThe periods are optional and the colon (:) is used to show what will seperate the time (as in 2:30).

the colon (in the config) as well as the periods, aren't used for anything.  they are just treated as part of the name.
