In this contribution I will publish configuration instructions gradually to the Hammerskin

Configuration of the Shortcut in the TodayPlus Config


Since the configuration prepares the Shortcut at most problem, I start with that best


7 groups of Shortcut are used in the skin. It is important that these are laid out in the right things' order. We start from above to below.

1st group, apps 1
This group is needed for the Mainpage. The name of the group won't appear in the Skin, so you can use an arbitrary name. You should insert the nine most important programs in this group so that these are immediately available on the Mainpage.

2nd group, apps 2
This group is the topmost group in the Launcher, The name which you give this group will seem in the first status line of the Laucher. You can lay out 27 Shortcut here

3rd group, apps 3
This group is the second from above in the Launcher. The name which you give this group will seem in the second status line from above in the Launcher. You can lay out 18 Shortcut here

4th group, apps 3
This group is the third group from above in the Launcher. The name which you give this group will seem in the third status line from above in the Launcher. You can lay out 18 Shortcut here

5th group, apps 4
This group is the undermost group in the Launcher. The name which you give this group will seem in the undermost status line in the Launcher. You can lay out 9 Shortcut here

6th group, Apps 6 (the dreaded one)
This is the group to be configured most difficult in the Skin. The Shortcut of this group are spread over the complete Skin.It is enormously important to adhere to the correct order.Which name this group has, isn't important. You also can call her Cheeseburger, it then also will work. This is important this group is the 6th from above.

1st Shortcut from above in this group.(Apps 6)
This Shortcut is needed for the blue Suspend button quite down on the right. It was the basic idea for this button that I can turn the device off here.I use Suspend.exe of PHM Applications for this. You can do him but Softreset also used for one. Is connected no matter which program at this makes, it is always used about the blue Suspendbutton

2nd Shortcut from above in this group.(Apps 6)
This Shortcut is used by the status indication of the battery and to be more precise on the Mainpage and in the system status. At the click on the status advertisement the program connected here opens. It was immediately the basic idea to reach the Powermangement of the device if there are problems with the battery.This combination leads to the energy management of the device on my PPC (Find in the Windows folder of the device )

3rd Shortcut from above in this group.(Apps 6)
This Shortcut is used by the status indication of the memory and to be more precise on the Mainpage and in the system status. At the click on the status advertisement the program connected here opens. It was immediately the basic idea to reach the  memory mangement direct of the device if there are problems with the memory. This combination leads to the memory management of the device on my PPC (Find in the Windows folder of the device )

4th Shortcut from above in this group.(Apps 6)
This Shortcut is used by the status indication of the File Store and to be more precise in the system status. At the click on the status advertisement the program connected here opens.The basic idea was here file explorer to reach it with a click. I use the Resco file explorer, and has with this a combination to the file store produces. One click, already am in the file store.  

5th Shortcut from above in this group.(Apps 6)
This Shortcut is used by the status indication of the SD-Card and to be more precise in the system status. The same is valid like in the 4th Shortcut here.


6th Shortcut from above in this group.(Apps 6)
This Shortcut is used by the status indication of the CF-Card and to be more precise in the system status. The same is valid like in the 4th Shortcut here.

7th Shortcut from above in this group.(Apps 6)
This Shortcut is used of the local time watch in the universal times and in the system status (below in the status line of the universal times and in the system status ).It was here the basic idea to reach the time attitude of the device. The Clock.exe is connected with that in the Windows folder on my device


8th Shortcut from above in this group.(Apps 6)
This Shortcut is used by the yellow neon tube on the Mainpage (below the battery/memory statuses ). It was here the basic idea to reach the display attitudes of the device.When selecting the neon tube should open itself the display attitude of your PPC with that you can regulate e.g. the brightness of the Device. You usually find this combination in the Windows folder of your PPC. The name of these combination isn't regulated uniformly it could hot Backlight.lnk or Displaylighting.lnk  etc.   You must find out yourselves what the name of this combination is called on your PPC in the end. In the download Apps 6 a combination is enclosed to the backlight, perhaps it works on your device. If this combination shouldn't work, this can be edited

9th and 10th Shortcut from above in this group.(Apps 6)
These two combinations are remembered for the pop-up menu in the system status. After the combinations were laid out, the names appear in the free seats of the selection menu, the icons don't appear. On my device e.g. SkTools and touch screen are there

7th group, apps 7
This Shortcut is used by the Radar and Stocks region. Laying out a combination to the Radar.exe in the Folder My Documents here.



The Zipfile Apps-6
In the download area I have a file publishes with the name Apps 6. Since some users cannot find the combinations in the Windows folder for Apps 6 on their device, I have provided the most important ones in this Zipfile
Are contained in it: Reset and Suspend.exe, Backlight.lnk, Memory.lnk, memory-card.lnk, Battery.lnk, Clock.lnk
It can happen now that these combinations don't work at some equipment. These then must be edited, this works as follows:

What you are doing now, everything must happen on the PPC, otherwise doesn't work it.

First you must the file rename (e.g. memory.lnk) from memory.lnk on memory.txt. After this is opened to the memory.txt with Pocket Word or note pad. (You also can use Resco Explorer, the editing function is already built-in there )
The contents then look so, for example: 1#ctlpnl MyCPL.cpl,2?\Windows\cplicons.dll,-103  important is the Number in front of the Question mark, in this example 2.
This number determines to which program the link leads. By changing the 2 to 3 the link to another attitude will lead on the PPC. You change the 2 to 2,1 e.g. the memory management opens but with the second register.

The difficult is now to find the right number for the correct program. You must try out simply and movingly yourselves (will someplace be to find of 1-9).




If you shouldn't need any Shortcut, you must nevertheless occupy this place since otherwise the order isn't correct any more

Basic Setup


This Skin presupposes that the version 011 of TodayPlus is already installed duly.

For the installation of the Hammerskin the images, the weather icons, the Radar.exe and the Skintext are needed

Copying the files after unpacking on the Pocket PC.

The hammerskin.tsk must be copied into the Windows Folder (Background theme)


Edit VGA Users: all VGA Folders have VGA at the end. Here ist the same Order as in QVGA. The VGA Skin uses other Weather Icons please save it into the Weather Icons Directory

Calling the config.exe after the Basic setup in the TodayPlus main directory. (Startmenu)


General
Selecting the Hammerskin.txt under Select Skin and typing the abbreviations of the calendar in as pointed (Edit)

Owner Info
Here ads your address data as well your Location (Max 3 Stellen after the comma), move the cursor to another field usually since otherwise the petition isn't stored.

You can use a picture with the size 77 x77 pixels as an image.

Configuring the Skin, Part 2

Weather/RSS
The places for the weather typing in and looking for here with add new (Internet connection necessary)!

Typing new rss-feeds in here with add New, Name optional, Update time optional (here 60 minutes)

Number of pages to cache (HTML sides which shall be held up offline -- here 0)


Time Storage
Entering the 6 towns for the World time advertisement here. Your own town doesn't need to enter it since the time of the system time of the PPC is taken

Storagepaths enter for the advertisement in the system Section.  Followed here the order like in the picture represented.

E.g. you should have only a SD card you must impose "My DEVICE" on the other places (Looxstore/CF Card) since otherwise the advertisement in the Skin doesn't work properly.

The Mainpage

If everything installs correctly and is configured, you see the Mainpage. This shall give you a summary of the most important things of the day and the Device. For more exact data you must select the special regions.





1. The current date, the time and the current sign of the zodiac is announced. Nothing can be selected in this area.

2. The calendar of the current month is shown here. The agenda area (7) is updated at the tap till a day.

3. You show here the time of the last update. With a Tap TodayPlus will fetch new data from the Internet (also the Radar.exe).

4. You see the weather forecast here for the current and the following day.  Nothing can be selected in this area.

5. You see the current battery and Maimemory statuses here. The advertisement changes in 20 seconds time. If you have configured everything correctly before, open himself to a Tap on the corresponding status joist, the battery or memory configuration of the device

6. With a Tap on the neon tube should open themselves the lights attitudes of your device.

7. You see the next appointment or the next task in the agenda area. The current calendar week of the year is also shown. With a Tap till a calendar day (2) the agenda (7) and the calendar week as well as the sign of the zodiac (1) update themselves. By a Tap till the appointment/task the Pim program opens and the appointment/task can be processed. Tasks can be immediately taken care without the Pim program to open.

Paid attention:
by a bug in TodayPlus this can pass it the advertisement of the calendar week doesn't correctly work always

8. Some lines of the first two RSS Feeds are represented here in 10 seconds time. Nothing can be selected in this area.

9. Here you see the nine most important programs you have this one defined in the Shortcuts (main/apps1) before. With a Tap on an icon the corresponding program opens.

The Weather page

This side shall for you around the current and future weather event inform.





1. In the heading you see the weather forecast was selected for which town. Nothing can be selected in this area.

2. You see in the update line when the last update has taken place. Nothing can be selected in this area.

3. Being sun and moon times shown to you in the next area. Nothing can be selected in this area.

4. The current weather data are shown to you here. After 4 hours this area removes itself. The data then might have become obsolete and you must synchronize newly. The update status (2) changes the color at the same time (Red Color).

5. The Radarbutton for the City view

6. You see the preview here for the next days. With a Tap till the date a pop-up (10) opens and you lets itself be seen more exact information about the select day.

7. With a Tap to the update button TodayPlus updates its data. The Radar.exe fetches new pictures from the Internet at the same time.

8. With a tap to the Menubutton the Menupopup (9) opens

9. In the menu pop-up you will find following:
- Icon change: With a Tap the next icon is shown.The Skin is using five different sets at the moment.The number of the set used at the moment is shown on the right besides the name "icon change".
-Satellite & Radar: You reach album approval of the radar pictures here.
-Zodiac Signs and Moonphases: With a Tap another pop-up opens.With an overview of the signs of the zodiac either or with the furthur Moonphases.
With the arrows high or down you can scroll through your towns and select with a Tap on the name. Over the upper arrow you see how many towns you have configured. Between the Update and the Menubutton you can see the current time.


The Radarpage for the Citys

Important: For every town  you must lay out a radar picture, since otherwise the skin couldn't work correctly.





1. In the Heading you see the Name of the Current city

2. The Picture. You can move the Picture with the 8 way button(6) in every direction. With the Resetbutton it is centered again in the middle.

3. The Indicator for the Current Radarpicture. Four different indicator can be shown. Only two are contained in the Skin, though. If you different one needed, either make themselve or in the forum posting I then make some to you.

4. With the arrow left or right you change to the next city

5. The updatebutton described like in the weatherpage.

7. The menubutton the same as in the Weatherpage

8. The Menu. Here the next town can as described already be selected. From here can gone to the Mainpage, you can change the indicator to or again back to the weather page.If you click to the middle of the radar picture, you come back to the weather page again, too.



The Radarpage as an Album

The only different between the Radarpage for the Citys is, here pictures are shown you cannot assign to any city.You can store at most 10 pictures here.

The agenda and task region.





1. In the heading you see where you are.The calendars week in addition are shown.

2. You see the next appointment or the next task in the agenda area.With a Tap till a calendar day (3) the agenda/task (2) and the calendar week update themselves. By a Tap till the appointment/task the Pim program opens and the appointment/task can be processed. Tasks can be immediately taken care without the Pim program to open.

3. The calendar of the current and the next month is shown here. The agenda/task area (2) is updated at the tap till a day.

4. With the arrows you can jump on the right or to the left to the next or previous month.

5. With the two inner arrows you can within a day scroll. This is useful if many appointments take place on the same day.With the two outer arrows you can jump off day to day.

6. You always see the current day and the time here, this serves as Resetbutton for the agenda/tasks at the same time. A reset of the agenda/tasks also can be shown by a Tap on the agenda/tasks button on the right side. This applies by the way to all regions.

The World Times





1. The heading how always.

2. Here the current time of the respective country. Of course with a current date. In the analog display with AM and PM.

3. The current time and the date of your device.

4. If you have configured everything correctly (Apps-6), the time attitude of your device opens itself with a Tap.

5. The switchover between digital and analog display.

The RSS Page





1. The headline is published in the heading you have this one selected in the overview (5).

2. You see the text of the Rssfeeds here.

3. Here you can the text at long RSSfeeds scroll.With a Tap to the middle of the text (2) the RSSfeed is taken to its status quo again.

4. You see the voted Chanell and the last update time here. Furthermore you see how many Chanells installed are and which one is shown at the moment. At an update appears a report to this place.

5. The headline overview. If some headlines should be in the Buffer, this is shown by a green arrow.

6. You can the headlines scroll here.

7. With the arrow  left and right the different Chanells become dialed.

8. With a Tap on the globe TD+ is permitted to use an active connection to the Internet. The globe will appear to be colored, identical whether a connection exists or not. In the online condition the arrows turn green in the overview (5). The harvest icon (10) shows on it online was entitled one stylized write.

9. An update of the data can be started here when required.

10. With this icon the chosen headline is called from the Internet and shown on the browser in the online mode. In the offline mode the sides loaded in the Buffert are shown with that. (Green arrow).

11. Here you can change to the Stock charts.

12. Being to the left or to the right the next pages loaded with the arrow.

13. You see the current time here and in addition, can configure the Device time with a Tap.

14. You can when required update the data here.

15. It goes back here to the RSS side again.

The Launcher





1. The heading how always.

2. With a Tab on the heading line this area opens with great icons. At a skillful composition of the programs this can for example be used for the navigation at driving a car.

3. It works back with a Tab on the heading line again.

At a full configuration 73 programs can be selected here. More doesn't give to say it here.

Systemstatus





1. The heading how always.

2. You see when here your last Softreset has taken place. As well as how many hours have passed since this.

3. You see stands like it around your Battery here. With a Tap on the loading up stand advertisement the energy attitude of your device opens.

4. You see the condition of your main memory here. With a Tap on the memory status the memory attitude of your device opens.

5. 6. 7. Here the condition of your memory cards. Here this opens what you have configured in Apps 6.

8. With this Button the images change completely, and so you can give the Skin  a different look .

9. You have shown here the system time and you can change with a Tap (Apps-6).

10. With a Tap the menu opens. You find the Ownerinfo as well as the Skininfo here. In addition, the free place still can be proved with two programs (Apps-6).
