Can you see an icon of that shortcut when you used File Explorer?

I believed the icon is from the program itself.  If you generate a "shortcut" for this program, the icon of the program should be visible.

The shortcut refered to is only a .lnk file with the following contents

1#ctlpnl cplmain.cpl,16?\Windows\cplicons.dll,-116

There is no icon visible even with the explorer

Can you see icon of this software under the explorer?  If not, then there is no icon for this sofware.  If yes and no icon is visible for the shortcut you made, then try to remake the shortcut.  

I did have the same problem before.  The icon of shortcut was disappeared after I pull out my SD card.  The exe was located in SD card.  The icon of shortcut was restored after I remade the shortcut.

you need cplicons.dll in your Windows directory, you can Download the dll here   (contained in: einstellungen.zip)

I copied the cplicons and now the icon has come up.

Yes, I know if you use ResHacker (http://www.users.on.net/johnson/resourcehacker/) to add an icon image into an exe/dll.  But I never done this before.

Rename the Shortcuts you need with File explorer

A NewBee frequently has to get to his config.exe for todayplus
So I have modified the Hammerskin to give a short cut to the configuration file

My first Modification and it works!!!!!

Note:- config.png is any image 50*13 pixels.  That has to copied into Hammerskin directory.  I modified an image from Handyplus

 The image you post can not be downloaded.

1)  Zip your image file first.
2)  Select "Browse" and select the zipped file.

Then the file will be uploaded and other users can download it.

The simple way is: rightklick the config.png and choose save picture as...

To skin the Top Bar, you can use "Wisbar Adv"...  If you don't have it, you can get it Here !
