Now I am really loosing my mind...

That doesn't seem to be it either because now city2 buffer time is showing updated at midnight as well. I have tried deleting temp Internet files on my computer and when I test the feeds on the computer they show the same darn thing. that was the case yesterday. they are stuck. can this be a problem with my temp Internet files? Perhaps someone can test my city 1 with the feed above and tell me what you get? CT0091 would be the acid.

EDIT:

The only thing I can see is that the standard TP weather url is not working. I tried some additional cities and the same thing is happening. That url is either broken and my computer is somehow holding on to temp internet files even after I clear and reboot.  :?:

Groovin,

What you have discovered is the reason so much effort was devoted to learn how to use a more timely weather forecast source. Not too many people use the MSNBC Weather Forecast Feed exclusively. Check out the Developer's Corner Discussion for a couple of alternatives.

Great, I am glad to hear there are alternatives. I would assume there will be guidance on how to apply changes. I have no idea where the source url is stored or how the program uses it.

Could this be related to the issues we were having here whereby when we update the weather sometimes it gives 'today' as a day that was really a few days ago?

eemond

Could be... I had to change my PHP Script (forecast_yahoo_txt.php) to work around the untimeliness if the MSNBC Weather Source. If you experience your problem again, check the MSNBC URL above for your acid. If it looks strange, it is probably the source  of your problems.

Hi EEmond,

I do see the various options over on the developer side. However, I would like to know where it is that you place the scripts. It doesn't really say. Sounds as if everyone already knows. Things are not the easiest to understand on these boards. Can you give me a bit more detail on how these work. I can see some that have been developed where you change your lang. citycode etc...I understand that part.

EDIT

OK for any newbs like me this is the deal. You can use this script:
http://forums.jhollin1138.com/viewtopic.php?p=12603#12603

Follow the directions. All you do is add the script url to your radar.txt file in your documents folder.

For EEmond, I am back up and running now...all the information is current and correct. :D

Sorry, guys, I missed all the actions here.   Blam to World Cup. Wichtel, your team is good.  Good luck on Friday game.
Hopefully, all the issues were resolved, if not please let me know what I can do for help.

Groovin

aaahhh ha! another one of those world cup excuses...  :D

Well the Americans stunk (not that we expected anything great, but one did have a glimmer of hope since their rank was the best it has ever been) so we have again turned our hopes to Cardinals baseball at our home- although our team stinks too.   I guess we will have to continue to follow the cup and pick a team to route for ...it is very exciting!
