Thanks, I've figured that out already. TodayPlus simulates the same look quite well, that's why I was confused :)

QuoteHowever, see in the New Skins/ Graphics section you wll fine the Calendar Skin, which accomplishes this with TodayPlus.
Yes, I already use it, I just liked the font used in My|Calendar - it looks much better than Tahoma (regardless of ClearType settings). And I also like to have another color for weekends and selection for the current day as it's done in My|Calendar. But that's probably just a feature request to srs :)

Hey guys,

just a quick update on my side :
I haven't stopped skinning, just been really busy (and seems like it won't stop so soon :( )

Anyway, I've added some new stuff to my Minimize skin, namely a battery/memory/storage section and a poom section as well.

I'm just seeing if I can get some free time in order to check the new commands of the latest versions and update my skin accordingly by tweaking it, especially the issues related with the new IF commands.
Anyway, I've got rid of almost all full refreshes and basically, I left only 2 of them (1 for minimize, 1 for maximize) The skin is blazing fast now :D

You may ask why the system metters are so "fat"? Well personally I don't like to display percentages inside the metters, but I've seen that many people like it so there is a line per each bar in the skin that you only need to uncoment and it will display the percentages in the metters, that's why I've kept the metters a bit thicker ;)

I plan to release v2.0 of this skin next weekend :)

The graphics you see on the screenshot are from Battery Bar, but I'm planning on making my own.

Looking good! A quick question if you have the time. How do you get the icons from Battery Bar to show without an ugly black box around them? I extracted the icons from BatteryPack, used the t variable to try to get a transparent background but I still get a box around them and not the pretty icons that you get. I'm sure I'm missing something but what  :?

Personally, I edited them with MS Paint and replaced the areas I wanted transparent with (255,0,255), then used following command in my skin:

color,transparent,255_0_255

LightMan or arbitrajeu,

Would you mind posting the Battery Pack icons with transparent backgrounds?  I could probably get them myself, but it would me much easier if you could post what you already have (I know, I'm lazy :D ).  I promise I won't use them in my skins until after you release yours, LightMan.

rbg08,

It only takes a couble of minutes to creat you'r own like i did. And plus made some for charging,75%,50%,25&, mem, memlow,sd,cf,filestore, uptime,AC. And they all change depends on what the battery region is displaying at the time.

Here are the battery pack icons. Feel free to use them when you want, they're not mine anyway ;)

I've already begun making my own (although slowly)

EDIT: I'm having problems in adding an attachment (zip), is it just me?

Pardon me for being so dense but I don't understand "... replaced the areas I wanted transparent with (255,0,255)" I'm using the freebe paint program that came with XP and I don't see any way to use those numbers with the program. Do I need to get MS Paint to do this or am I missing something. Thanks

ya1950

EDIT: OK, so I am dense. Just checked the help file and now I see what you guys are talking about. Thanks for putting up with a non-graphical newbe  :)

Glad you sorted it out, I was hitting the reply button when I noticed you had edited your post in the meantime ;)

Are going to add a calendar section to the next update of the skin by chance? I am going to start working on this if not. I figure I will finish about the time that you update the skin to 0.10 and will need to start over

Thanks for the Great Work.

Well, I wasn't planning to add a calendar, but I guess I can use the same space that I use for the Agenda to include also a calendar accesible through a simple button...

Anyway, I've been having some major problems converting this from v0.9.8 to v0.10.0 so that's why I've had to postpone the release :(

Lightman,
What are you using for the agenda and tasks? It looks like the roll up/down. Thanks.
