I've uninstalled v.10, installed .NET, and installed v.11.
I've used the much appreciated and long-awaited config.exe and selected slider.txt and plugged in my weather location (successfully searched in using my zip code.)
The agenda info is working perfectly, but I can't seem to get the weather data or icons to display. I've tried performing a warm reset, turned off TodayPlus and turned it back on (deselected/reselected it from the Today screen list), tried using config.exe when TodayPlus is running and when it isn't, manually tapped the TodayPlus sync button, and manually kicked off an ActiveSync sync.
I've let it sit for 15 minutes hoping for a slow refresh, but still nothing.
One thing: when I return back to the weather tab in config.exe, the Weather list only displays " - ( mins, )". If I edit that selection, the City I selected isn't listed. I am assuming that I am not saving the location correctly. I can search in the zip code just fine, and then specify the Name and an update time (is this in minutes?), then tap on the checkmark button to save the edits, but later when I return to the weather tab, it is again empty!
Never mind....I hate when I stumble over my own stupidity... :oops:
You have to save the weather location(s) by:
1. Searching in the weather location.
2. Select and highlight it in the location list.
Selecting it automatically fills in the name value, saves the location data, and magically refreshes the icon display out on the today screen. The only thing left to do is to specify the refresh rate (in minutes) and customize the location name as desired. Maybe srs has made this *too* easy for us!
