Post by: ArcticCat on December 24, 2003, 04:36:21 AM
I guess that in old version all we had to do is take a copy of the config.txt file to back all our current configuration, but with the new version i beleive that everything is beeing written inside the registries so how to backup up the configuration???

You shouldn't have to. Unless you do a hard reset the info should stay there from version to version.

I back up my registry using PHM Registry Editor. It's freeware.

Same here - use PHM regedit, find the registry key for SRSSOFT, highlight the key, and "export" it to a .reg file

If you have a melt-down & lose the registry, then (once you have the PDA up & running again) you would install TP, then import the .reg file, and all the TP settings should be there......

Good luck
