Hi joel135

AF works fine with TP. AF is a good program and, in fact, I use it so much that I haven't fiddled too much with my TP POOM area. The TP POOM area is useful : I have buttons to switch between the next 3 days of appts & tasks; the next 7 days of appts; overdue tasks; or all tasks. But for anything else, I just go directly into AF (using links on my ICbar). So, for example, I haven't bothered installing a scroll function in the TP POOM area. It's cool - but if I need an overview of (say) next month's meetings & tasks, AF is better (that's what it's there for -- why own a dog, then teach your cat to bark?  :D  )

The "link" between TP & AF is fine. Click on a task or appt in the POOM area, & AF opens.....

I can't compare AF to PI, because I don't own PI (& I'm happy enough with AF that I don't feel a need to DL a trial of PI)

All the best..........Scotty

Both Pocket Informant and Agenda Fusion us the PPC's Outlook database, so no conversion is needed.  Think of these applications as a much more advanced interface to you Outlook information.
Title: Link from TPlus to Agenda Fusion

I need a little bit of help on how to do this. :?:

In the TPlus Config utility (TPlus 0.11), on the POOM tab, I have selected the "AF" radio button, browsed to the AgendaFusion folder, and selected any of a number of the AgendaFusion EXE files. With some, I get my iPAQ to open the AgendaFusion application if I tap an item on the TodayPlus screen (for example with FusionViewWeek.exe). However, what it will display is the AgendaView of Today's date (irrespective of the date of the task or appointment that was tapped in TPlus). I cannot get it to open the task or appointment directly.

As far as AgendaFusion (v5.41) itself is concerned, under Options, on the Global Settings tab I have selected Set Pocket Outlook links to Fusion Views, but apparently that does not influence the way TPlus handles Task or Appointment taps.

Thanks for any help

CJCV,
You got to select the "AgendaFusion.exe" for it to work. I'm using AF 5.41 and it works for me.

Thank you Optimus. I tried that before, but it did not seem to work.

I think I know why. If you have AF already running, and then tap a recurring appointment in TPlus, it looks as if TPlus does not open the appointment (TPlus screen remains in the front, so it looks as if nothing happens).   However, if you than switch to AF trough the taskbar (I am using Wisabar Advance), AF has a dialog box open asking whether you want to open the occurence or the series.  Apparently AF does not bring that dialog box to the front when opening a recurring item from TPlus.

If AF was not already running to begin with (AF then launches upon tapping an item in TPlus), OR if the item tapped in TPlus is a task or a single occurence appointment it opens just fine in Agenda Fusion.
