Title: Text editor for the skin??
Post by: ecard on December 26, 2003, 10:48:44 PM
I'm currently doing the edit through my PPC, but it does work well.

How do you do all your changes, tests, etc?  Through your desktop, PPC, what text editor, etc?

Thanks,
ecard

I do all my editing on the PPC, using Pocket Notepad from Tillansoft. It lets you save the file without exiting the program and you can see your change with a quick reset of the today screen.

Cheers

I use XP notepad, and save an extra copy on the PPC incase of an error in text file.

It's excly what I want, but that software is limited to 32K size, over that, it's still start PocketWord.

I'm using Textpad on desktop and the integrated texteditor from TotalCommander (while customzing skins my TotalCommander is always open because of moving/changing files...). Until now, it does not have any problems with larger textfiles and I like the edit buttons (cut/paste/copy/etc) at the down bar.
