Title: Need Help!! I can't find the slider.txt

Dear all,

When I run the config.exe at the first time, I can select slider.txt from the slider dll (the other pull down is dimmed) pull down menu and when I kept trying to config TP, I found the slider.txt disappear  :oops: from the pull down menu but I still can see slider.txt in 'slider' folder using file explorer.

Please advise.

Make sure that your base path is set to Todayplus. The Base path is located in the General tab of the config file.

Hi,  Thank you very much for your reply.

I just checked the base path, I really did choose the wrong path.  So I changed to back to Program files --> TodayPlus --> Skins (and I tried Program files --> TodayPlus too).  But I still couldn't locate slider.txt under 'Select Skin (DLL)' pull down menu.

Please advise.  Thank you very much.

The Base Path should be TodayPlus.  Also did you install the microsoft net framework?  You need it to use the program. Here is where you get it: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=359EA6DA-FC5D-41CC-AC04-7BB50A134556&displaylang=en

Also after you make the change to the Base Path hit the button reload plugin. Then exit the config. Then if you don't see it go back in and see if you can select it.

Thank you very much for your help.  It's now working.  But I found something strange, when I followed your steps, I still can't select the slider.txt.  After I tried to uninstall TP and got a msg saying some DLL file still running and then I run config.exe again, then slider.txt appears again.
I have no idea why.  But anyway, thanks again for your fast response.

If the problem continues, I would do a complete removal and then try again.  . Plus what you should always do, is go into settings Today items and un-click TodayPlus then do a soft reset then uninstall

I just got a new pda with arm 400 and ppc 2003 installed. Would .net come pre-installed?

where would I check to see if it is installed?

WM2003 has .NET framework pre installed but the base version. Microsoft has released two service packs since then to squash some bugs and you might need to upgrade .NET framework if you are having some specific problems.
