Title: RSS syntax in Config.exe V11
Post by: dhpss on December 30, 2003, 03:22:34 PM
Please let me know how to code the URL window for RSS: (e.g: "//rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/world" or :"rss.news....")
I tried both, I can not get the contents.
And what I should specify for number of pages to cache?
Thx!

Hi,

try a "http://" . That should solve your problem. I use 3 Sites to cache.

Where do you get the codes for news sites, like foxnews.com?

Syndic8 (http://www.syndic8.com/) has a list of severl RSS feeds.  For Fox News (http://www.syndic8.com/feedinfo.php?FeedID=6809), you could try:

http://xml.newsisfree.com/feeds/67/3167.xml

That's outstanding.  My Google searches never turned anything like this up.  I sure ought to have plenty to choose from here!
