Title: can Today+ be installed in SD card? and question on .net
Post by: Goondu on February 18, 2004, 11:08:40 PM
Today plus seems like a large program. Is it possible to install and run it from the SD card?
Failing that which of its files can be installed in the SD card?
Also what does .net do to the PPC? I am using 4150. How much space does it take up?

thanks

The main program (TodayPlus.exe and TodayPlus.dll) must be in main memory, but other folders can be relocated. Read this!

If you are running 2003 Microsoft Net Framework is already installed, if 2002 you need it to run the config application to set up program.

Which will be a better way? Moving the various folders after installation or install into the SD Card and then move the main program file?

Sorry, real newbie question this is.....

thanks

I think it should remain on main memory, since it will run slower. But if you really want to do it, change after install to main. If I remember correctly you have to create a folder n the SD card and call it TodayPlus, then change Bsae Path in config, so the program can find its files.
