Hi
I had just downloaded TodayPlus and I am trying to configure the settings.
I had this error shown whatever I tried to add city in the Weather tab, Exception:System.Net.WebException:Could not find source assembly. Did I missed out anything???
In order to add cities you must be connected to the internet via the cradle. If you do you won't have the problem. Either use city code or name of city. One or the other should work.
I'm connecting via GPRS. It can't be done via GPRS?
You should be able to do it either way as long as you are connected. If not the only way to add the city will be by editing the windows registry. Try another city or one close by (Major city) to see if it is only the one city you are trying to add.

Yes, it can, although you will need to force the refresh using a button (since the connection doesn't use ActiveSync)
btw, if after you're online, you still get the same message, you have to install the MS compact dotNET framework.
Read somewhere in the forum that if I am on WM2003, I need not install the MS compact dotNET framework, right? But anyway I installed it after I got this error. And still getting this error now...

I can't even start choosing the city... Got this error when I press "search" and my XDA2 starts to connect via GPRS.
Editing the windows registry seems to be too deep for me.
Do you think it will help if I restall it after hard reset? Really desperate.
If necessary here is how you add a city to registry:
1. Use a registry editor and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
2. Go to SRSoft
3. TodayPlus
4. Scroll down to city
5. Tap on city
6. add new entry with the following
key name 1 data for key would be like this 60,zip code, name of city here is an example. 60,08824, home
60 is the minutes between refresh, 08824 is my zip code and home is what shows on the screen for city 1 for city 2 do the same thing using 2 as the entry for key.
You don't use ActiveSync at all? The only way left is registry editor, but if you are not sure how to do this don't.
Will try hard reset and reinstall the programs. I do use Active Sync. But never tried to connect internet via active sync.
Will give it a try before the fatal hard reset...
Great, while in cradle make sure you are connected to internet on desktop PC then attempt to get data. But remember if you have dialup you must be connected to internet. On cable or DSL and you are connected all the time don't worry.
Tough luck, still can't make it...
Did a hard reset, so do I need to download the net framework software???
If you are running windows mobile 2003, no you don't have to. If 2002 yes you must.
