Post by: hooloovoo on April 26, 2004, 09:06:13 AM
hi
i want to use the wind speed option in today
to show in kilometers and not in miles
i tried to insert the data to a variable however it didn't work
i used:calcvar,var30,/,windspeed,2
does anyone know if and how i can do that?
thanks

That's not possible for now, because there is no calcvar for the
windspeed.

I might be wrong as I've never used the windspeed command myself but from my reading of the manual it seems that it is hardcoded in miles in the today command and that there is no provision for windspeed in the calcvar command. The only reason that you can convert from F to C temperatures is that the config utility allows for this. Maybe someone else has a different answer. Sorry.
