Post by: hooloovoo on April 30, 2004, 02:49:43 PM
hi
i want to change the forcast icon by my local time (gmt +2)
i tried to use if else  daytime
however i don't know how to make T+ use my local time
by the way i think that this is the reason
some people have the forcast not syncing right
but i'm not sure

i think i saw other skins in which the icon was changing in the night time
can anyone tell me what is the right code for it
thanks

T+ uses the system time for most things. For the weather it will use the information from the city as entered into the configuration utiltiy. In version 0.11 you can enter the long and lat for one city for sunrise/sunset calculations. There is a work around to make it recognize more cities but you have to edit the registery to get it to work.

Having said that there is a particular problem in Israel. At least in Mobile2003 the PPC doesn't know that it is daylight savings time yet. If this is your problem try changing the system time to another location that is +2 gmt, ie. Athens.
Hope this helps.
