Title: Trouble with RSS
Post by: Boiler_81 on December 17, 2004, 10:28:02 PM
I am having problems with RSS. I use the latest Hammer Skin. I am not getting the headlines to show up in any of the feeds other than the feed in the second position. TD+ appears to download the other sites but nothing shows up. I have tried several known good feeds with the same result. I have uninstalled TP+ and manully removed all the left over folders and registry entries I can find. I then reinstalled TP+ with the same result. I am assuming there is something else in the registery or a folder which needs to be deleted but I can not find it.

Hi,

Did you try to empty the buffer folder ( basedir\buffer ) in todayplus. The Hammerskin is working fine over here.

Like Gambler said, clear the buffer first, then update again.

Simliar thing happened to me before (I forgot what exactly happened).  It seemed to me, add a RSS is fine.  But if you edit, then it is always better to clear buffer then do the update.  Hope this help.

Clearing the buffer does not help. After clearing the buffer, I still get headlines in the second postion and nothing in the other positions.

Could you please post a screenshot?  Have you done any modification in hammerskin?

I had a similar problem some weeks ago. Try the following: Clear Buffer, Clear all Temp folders on your PPC (use a cleaning Programm like SK Tools), Clear the Temp folder on your PC and the Temporary Internet files on your PC.

After this make an Softreset on your PPC and an Reset on your PC, then Synch again.

This seems to have taken care of the problem.
