I just started using TodayPlus and I love it! I wish I had found it sooner. This site has been a wealth of info and has helped me out with some of my basic questions. Here is my first big problem. I am getting weather updates. I have tried to add two cities into the weather config tab, but I keep getting this error when I hit the search button.
"Exception:
System.net.WebException
:Could not find resource

I keep getting the default icons when I bring the weather up on the today screen. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestion

Hey Butchhe, welcome to the world of TodayPlus :)
Your error can be caused by several problems.
For the most it is a problem with your internet-connection.
Try to open your pocket-internet-explorer, when your ppc is in the
cradle and your pc is connected to the internet. If you type in an url,
do you get the site ? If it does not show, check your options in
activesync on the pc. You have to allow the ppc to connect to the internet.
The second problem, that happens often, is, that the city you are
searching is not in the database of msnbc.com. The spelling has to be
correct and you gan go to msnbc.com --> weather --> search your city.
If you can find it there, you should be able to search the city even in the
config.exe.

I don't have a wireless or a modem card yet. Can you run IE through the host pc? I'm trying this at work, so the firewall might be causing a problem. The default icons that I was reering to were the ones from the slider skin. I'm running the Hammerskin now, so I'm just getting blanks where the weather should be.

No wireless here too. The way is to connect through the host-pc by ActiveSync

That seems to be the problem for me. Most of the Networks are using
a proxy-server for the internet-connection and TodayPlus cannot sync
then. (Some people could manage that by editing the proxy-parameter
in the ppc-connections) Try do do a forumsearch for 'proxy'

I've managed to get IE on the PPC to work by inputting proxy values, but still can't get TP to update.
It seems to be trying now though, it takes longer to show no weather; any ideas? :cry:

I installed Todayplus a few days ago. I managed to get all working, except all apps that need an internet access through activesync (weather, radar)
I use a HP iPAQ 2210, WM2003. I can connect to internet throw Pocket Internet Explorer, with the proxy credentials of my company.
I'm not sure that Todayplus is able to reuse the credentials defined in Pocket Internet Explorer.
Is there any developper here that can check this point ?
