Title: Scalix tab doesn't appear in AD
Post by: mutyeah on April 20, 2006, 02:42:19 AM
Hi all,

I have a windows 2000 server SP4 with exchange server 2000 SP3 where AD is on and a scalix server on linux system, i would link the two systems and the idea is to manage scalix users from AD. I've installed the packages to do that but nothing new appear in AD console. Could you help me please ? Did I forget something ? Here what I do exactly :
1. run Scalix AD Schema Extensions.msi
2. lunch C:Program FilesScalixAdministrationScalixForestPrep.exe
I have the update successful message and a new file appears in this folder :
ScalixADPages.dll
3. wait and restart the w2k server
4. Scalix AD GUI Extensions.msi

Thanks for your help.
Jean-Philippe.

P.S : I have a doubt because in the documentation the name of the packages are not exactly what I have.

It wasn't much of a spam was it though, he didn't put a link up to anything; it seemed a genuine mistake/cockup?

Actually he did have a link in the above post, I removed it.  He also had 3 other posts, all with a link and one with a linked image.  I deleted all those posts.  I left this one post because Witchel responded.

I also deleted the account, that is why the post is showing posted by a "Guest".  You have to a registered and active member to post.
