Title: using skins
Post by: colemanh on October 31, 2003, 02:30:50 AM
This is a newbie kind of question but I like the OSX complete skin and would like to use that but am not sure where everything needs to go.  The post does say where to put the config file and skin file but what about all the BMP's and how does the skin know which BMP's to use?

Just looking for some help, thanks!

Any bmps will need to go into the Images folder. Typically these are in a seperate folder. For the OSX skin take the OSX folder in the download and place it in the images folder.

The skin knows where to look because of the skin file. options, weathericondir,Weather Icons\Weather.com,bmp
options,imagedir,Images\OSX

These 2 lines in the skin file tell TodayPlus where to find the images.
