Hi,
I played with TodayPlus a while back and liked what I saw. However, there seemed to be no way to get the program to automatically update itself (you had to click on the refresh button). Can you do this in later versions?
Secondly, is there any good documentation? The download is rather lacking in information and although I'm not averse to ploughing through examples - i might as well save time by RTFM first :)
Thanks.
Afaik, the automatic periodic weather update is built into T+ for a LONG time now (since 1st version?) You just set the interval you want to wait before it automatically tries to update again. ;)
You can also configure this seperately for the RSS feeds and any other region of the program.
About your 2nd question, documentation is far from perfect, but quite reasonable (thanks mostly to srs and fishboy)
Check this (http://www.dark-mojo.com/TodayPlus/viewtopic.php?t=3) topic in the General section.

I believe that TodayPlus will actually not update itself automatically,
except immediately after an ActiveSync connection is established. So, if you plug you PPC into the cradle at 9am and leave it there until 12pm it will still have data from 9.02am, or thereabouts.
The time you specify for the weather and RSS feeds are the
minimum intervals at which it will poll the online source for new data when you refresh, either manually or via a new ActiveSync.

hmm now that you mention it, you're right, my mistake...I was mixing/confusing both things.
My apologies to ralawrence :(
Isn't there a way to set up ActiveSync for continues syncing? That mite do what he wants.
Obviously you don't need ActiveSync to update weather and rss information... I use my WLAN for example.
I like the idea of syncing weather and rss info as soon as it changes, or once the minimum update interval expires... if a connection is continous (as arbitrajeu writes) it only refreshes if done manually... doesn't it?
