Well, now the question:
Since TodayPlus has become my only Today plug-ins. I am wondering, if the current plug-ins (even unchecked) would take any place in main memory (standard: calenday, inbox, etc. or addon such PocketMusic, etc.)
If they clutter the main memory. Do you have any suggestions to remove them from register. Thx!
Anything that came with the PPC (Inbox, Calendar, etc) is on ROM, so it doesn't take space on RAM. If it's a today plugin that was installed by you, and you don't want it anymore, just remove it from the PPC using Add/Remove programs.
I would gladly pay if this were to become char-ware. This is too good to be free!!!!! I do still keep pocket plus for the light control and shortcuts. Everything else is outa there! I was amazed at the lack of complicated setup procedures and the ability to sync through my corp firewill with out any headaches that I have had with ither weather/news programs.
GREAT APP!!!!!
There is one thing I would love to see as part of this program, is a task manager like WisBar Advanced. That way my overhead would be at a minimal. (Memory that is,)

Since Wisbar Advance (and IcBar) are already freeware and both awsome tools, why clutter TodayPlus with something that other free programs already do so well?
Just my 2 cents ;)
My thought is that Plug-ins use memory, while one plug-in would use less. Thus a win win situation!
Well, the more work the plugin has to do, the more memory it requires. So it's not that big of a win.

Precisely.

I also don't think that TodayPlus and icbar/WisBar are trying to occupy the same space. Adding such features to TodayPlus would be a tangential change in direction, not to mention the fact that I don't think plug-ins and taskbar apps use the same invocation model.
Of course, if srs wanted to make a TodayPlus feature for a flight simulator, RTS, word processor and spreadsheet I'd be able to ditch four more applications... ;)
Well I am out numbered! I know when to throw in the towel.

There are useful programs such PocketMusic, Worldmate, which come with Today Plugins in addition with regular program. You can not remove them since you stll need the programs. I am wondering if there is way to remove the plugin entry in the registry..
