Title: Lost codes in forecast.txt
Post by: liopox on November 19, 2003, 05:58:05 PM
Hi!!

When I actualize the weather, it shows the weather in the day and in the night, but sometimes, puts unknown code 16 or 23.

I have seen in the forecast.txt and these codes are not present

Is it an error?

And the last question. I live in Malaga (Spain) I have put the code for the weather of Malaga in the skin. Have I to put another thing to configure the skin=

Thanks

We don't have all the weather codes as yet, although it does surprise me that we've still missed some.  If this is still the current weather forecast you could check MSNBC.com's weather page for the same city and see what text they have for those days, which will tell you what the codes mean, then we can get them added to the forecast.txt file.

It's important that the weather page has the same timestamp as your weather file, so do check that before posting new codes, please.

I just got an unknown code of 11.  It appears to be a "Clear" night, but I couldn't find that at the MSNBC link... I had to go all the way to the Weather Channel site.  Am I doing something wrong?

The details are 94568 zip and this Saturday.

Thing is an old forecasttext file is getting delivered with the installation and  this has been stated before too. The file I am attaching is relatively latest and has codes 11, 16 and 23 all in here and this file was posted here before too. Admins please take note of this, sticky this file or better yet srs change the file in installation.

Interesting :). The size of file is reported as 998 KB instead of B :D. Some error in site script.
