As I understand T+ should authomaticaly refresh wether info if PPC is in a cradle and have the internet access... is it correct? And should do it every hour?
On my Toshiba 755 I have to hit refresh button to update wether info.
For example, yesterdey at 8p.m. I pressed refresh button to update info. And then I left py PPC in the cradle overnight. Today I have "Last update date" - 8 p.m.
If I put my device into the cradle and dont press refresh manually, it does not grab any info from internet. :(
Any ideas?
I am not an expert, but I think you have to have your Active-Sync set to constant syncing. Otherwise it will wait to either you sync manually or remove and replace in cradle. My Axim is always in the cradle and is constantly syncing.

The problem is it does not sync even first time when I put it in cradle :(

TodayPlus should only refresh immediately after an ActiveSync session first connects, or when you press the refresh button.
The 60-minute setting in the config.txt file simply tells TodayPlus what the
minimum time should be between refreshes. That is, if you ActiveSync at 8pm then hit the refresh button at 8.10pm, TodayPlus will
not try to refresh, as it's less than 60 mins since last refresh. Whereas, if you hit the button at 9pm or later, it
will refresh.
TodayPlus
never automatically refreshes data - it always needs one of these triggers.
If you have Active Sync to sync continuously will it work then?

No, I don't believe so. It only refreshes after a new ActiveSync session is established, not after every sync activity.

I'll check tonight...
On my iPaq, it refreshes every time it syncs (as long as the 60-minute minimum has expired). Note that just being connected isn't enough, even if you've set it to sync continuously -- it has to actually carry out a sync.
For example, today my iPaq has been cradled since 8AM, constantly connected, and with ActiveSync running continuously. However, I was out of the office, and didn't make any changes on my PC or iPaq - hence, no syncs were run (even though the PC & iPaq were connected). Just now, I opened the ActiveSync window, and clicked the sync button - it ran a sync (nothing synced, because no changes had been made all day ) -- but, because a sync was run, TP then updated weather & news........so, you don't have to establish a new session (for example, by uncradling & recradling) - you just need to tell it to run a sync under the current session
Brief follow-up : if you click the ActiveSync button before the 60 minutes have passed, you'll see the weather text grey out briefly (as TP "thinks about" updating, but it returns to normal text within seconds, and the update time remains unaltered.
Finally - obviously, I'm not suggesting that you use the sync button to refresh your data - that's what the TP refresh button is there for - but if was possible to set ActiveSync to actually run a sync every hour or so (even in the absence of any changes on the iPaq or on the PC) - that would, in effect, force TP to refresh......
