I just installed 10.2 and have found that the weather isn't working. Here's my code, which worked in 10.1:
var,numcities,3
city,1,60,55405,Home,f
city,2,60,CSXX0011,Nicoya,f
city,3,60,98101,Seattle,f
If I look in the buffer folder after a fresh update (after deleting the buffer files) I see that city1.txt has 0 bytes, while city1.txt.time has 22 bytes. The same is true for cities 2 and 3.

Works fine for me. Are you still able to use PocketIE to surf at the same time as this error is occurring? (or verify some other way that your internet connection is working)
I had teh same problem. See : http://dark-mojo.com/TodayPlus/viewtopic.php?t=875
rss feeds still work, so problem is not in internetconnection
My weather is working! The only changes I made was to remove the unit from the cradle and do a soft rest and delete the buffer files. Upon resyncing all worked.

Have read in many posts now, that to delete the files in the Buffer folder and the uptime.txt file in the TodayPlus folder helps to resolve many of these problems.
May question now is:
Is there any way to delete the files in Buffer and uptime.txt by using a button on the TD+ screen, which calls a program (that I don't know yet) which does the deletion?
srs, is it possible to implement a "forced" update, which deletes all these files before refreshing the data?

I think this is a pretty good idea, for a number of reasons. In my case, I have intermittent authorisation problems with my company proxy (even with my Firewall Client) which means that occasionally it will reject the efforts of TodayPlus to refresh data. In order to fix it, I have to open a page in PocketIE, then delete the files in Buffer and hit refresh. It would be somewhat easier if I could force the refresh through TodayPlus and miss the second step.
