I don't know, maybe you hear more often from people when things go wrong, but I thought I'd say that everything works just fine for me.
TodayPlus doesn't crash, I don't have to do resets, (neither hard nor soft),
and with a bit of work TP is easily enough customizable.
I got an English PPC 2002 version, which now lives in Germany, with German country settings. The Fahrenheit has been changed to Celsius in the config file, and the usual customizations.
I use my 3630 Ipaq also for Geocaching via the Navman GPS sleeve, and the usual PIM stuff and for reading ebooks and news.
I know TP ain't without small errors, (Tasks without date don't display, battery display appears to give strange readings when used with GPS sleeve, doesn't calculate time remaining) but all in all I'm most happy with the best Today screen I've come across to-date.
