Is anyone else experiencing this also?
Refresh of POOM is generally slow and some time it is exceptionally slow. Takes like 5 ~ 10 seconds sometimes.
I downgraded momentarily to 0.10 to check if this was something else but 0.10 worked just fine. Now back to 0.11 and POOM refresh is taking time again.
In the config app tap on thread priority normal and see if this helps.
Already tried that. There was no significant difference.
Do you have other programs running in the background?
Not really. There is not much. Resco explorer running mostly but nothing else. And I am sure thats not the issue.
Moreover, as I am experiencing, fetching of tasks only takes more time than fetching appts and tasks both. Seems to me some specific issue with outlook command.
Ok. I'm out of ideas. :(
To refresh the Agenda it can take a minute or so, real slow, and I too am set to priority normal.

I have the same problem with 11.0: it takes three minutes on my pda to refresh the Agenda and other POOM sections. Also, after a complete new 'clean' installation.
Timmy.
Last nights update was surposed to help, I reinstalled on top of the older ver11 still not working. Does your refresh itself every few minutes?

It should refresh every few minutes do to the fact it is looking for updates. Your other problem should have been fixed in the new version. I recommend that you uninstall the older version and reinstall. I did this and it works fine. Also, you do not need to delete the todayplus folder just unistall through remove programs.
I just did that, and it is still taking forever to refresh.
Joel, I think there was some changes in the POOM section. Go back to the original slider skin and see if it works faster there. It refreshes very slow for my CalendarPlus skin but works faster in slider.
Yea, it does work faster, but I love this skin! You think it could be fixed?
Sure. Just copy and paste. This is a section I haven't put alot of time into so I just use the original version from slider.
I tried that, but it didn't give all the buttons, that you have on the original.
Are you talking about the 10.0 slider skin?
Ok. I'll look into this weekend. I am planning to do a major revision for this new version so I might incorporate it into that.
Thanks. Please put in the launcher with arrows.
the outlook command has changed a bit, and when updating, no longer does a full refresh. the format of the command is now:
outlook,<x>,<y>,<width>,<height>,<filter>,<cache slot>,<cache height>,var<x> (height used),var<y> (num of days displayed),<regions to update>
the <cache height>,var<x>,var<y>,<regions to update> are optional. the reason the poom doesn't update is that the regions to update parameter should be specified (older version did a full refresh).

In
TodayPlus Forum Index -> Changelog you can find a better version of 0.11.0. It's the same version-number 0.11.0, but after some improvements it was uploaded instead of the earlier version 0.11.0.
WITH THIS NEW UPLOAD EVERYTHING WORKS VERY FINE NOW! With many THANKS to mr. SRS !!!
Timmy
Sorry Timmy, but some skins have to be modified inorder to work. I will have to wait till BlazingWolf has a chance to look at the problem.
I think I got it licked. here is my code for the Calendar skin.
outlook,5,0,235,%var15%,%var9%,%var8%,228,var20,var19,11
else
// outlook,5,16,230,112,%var9%,%var8%
outlook,5,16,235,%var15%,%var9%,%var8%,228,var20,var19,11
endif
It refreshes real quick now. Not sure what to do to implement the Today tomorrow thing.

Thanks, that change made a huge difference for me (WM2003/iPaq 2215) - the POOM refreshes are now near-instantaneous !!
