NTLM Authentication

I'm a newbie and have a couple of questions/issues with TP. Would appreciate help in resolving. I have the latest OSX V.11.
   1) How can i get past the NTLM Authentication error (trying to get to AvantGo)?
   2) Cannot get weather to display. No icons either.
   3) Battery bar, memory, CF card icons are black
   4) Whenever i touch on selections bar (like Main, Weather, etc),         another bold title appears that is un-readable.
   
Would appreciate the help as i like the skin very much. Thanks in advance,
