I have been reading these posts like crazy and enjoying Today+ for a good 24 hours now.  Its great! I cant believe its this powerful for free.

Now... on to my questions.  I use an Toshiba e740.

1- Can I have the weather/news update when i am using it wifi?

2- I cant get the shortcuts to work.  Is this a hardware issue with my PPC?

Thanks in advance for your help.

As far as shortcuts go!  On the top do you have a folder such as TEXT or UTIL or QUICK if you do first highlite the group you want the shortcut to be located.

Then in the bottom frame select add new then in the path box browse to the location of the lnk or exe file and highlite it.

Then in the lower box give it a name.

What I am doing is going to the Today Config prgram (on the PPC) and click on shortcuts.  I can add a new group (just name it) but on the box below where I add the sortcut the addnew button does nothing.

You will have to tap a group before you can add a shortcut, so after tapping a group, go to the shortcut section, ADD NEW en voila :D

The quick answer is yes, as long as you have internet access via your WiFi connection.  Just tap the Refresh icon with WiFi enabled and it should refresh fine, assuming the amount of time since your last refresh is longer then the time you have set between refreshes.

Very nice.  Thanks Jim.  I just need to shorten that update time.
