I am a true newbie to Pocket PC's. I have a Viewsonic V37 - and have installed the .NET to the PPC.  I have copied the TodayPlus CAB file to the PPC -- but I guess I didn't put it in the right folder because everyplace I put it, when I click on it, I get an error message stating there is no application associated... bla bla bla.  Can someone help me out or point me to DUMMY directions?  Thanks!  :)

It should work...
Download the zipfile from this forum. Unzip it. Then you've got a .CAB file. Copy that to, for example, My Documents Folder on your ppc. Click on it, and it will install itself. To configure the whole thing. Go to Program Files --> Todayplus --> Config.exe

Good Luck

Thanks for the reply -- it worked!  now I can't seem to get the sunrise sunset times to be correct.  I thought I read from previous posts that it is based on the long/lat entered.  Is that incorrect?  Is there something I need to adjust?  I live in NY USA and it shows 12:41 and 1:32 for the times which is obviously incorrect.... any ideas?
and thanks for a great tool!

Remember that western and southern values are considered neagtive. so enter those with a negative sign.

   THANKS got it working -- thanks!! now I just have to see why its not refreshing the weather data....

I just downloaded the app, went into the config program and selected the skin "slider" under the general tab. Then I went into Today Plus & saw the basic screen.

I went back into the config program to see what sort of customizations were availbable, and messed something up. When I returned to Today Plus, the whole screen was blank. In the config program, "slider" is no longer an option (no skins are listed at all).  "slider.txt" is still in the "skins" folder in the "Today Plus" folder.

Any changes that I make in the config program are kept somewhere, because when I uninstall the program, do a soft reset, and reinstall the program by freshly unzipping the original download, any unique settings I had made before still show up.

Where are these settings stored so I can delete them and start over?

Itanium

Before doing anything else. Did you set the 'Base Path' on General tab to \Program Files\TodayPlus? Do that first if not already done.

JimHughes@Qwest.net

Yes, that's the path that's currently set.

Itanium

Ok. If you want to remove the registry settings, its under

HKEY Current User \ Software \ SRSSoft \ TodayPlus

Delete the TodayPlus branch to start fresh.
