I like calendar plus 10.2, and am working on tweaking it with some very good help, how can I go about putting the moon phase in the 1st weather block?  Beside the calendar on top I have the current temp, and then again below in the 5 day listing I have the current weather again.. a little redundat, so how do I go about changing that 1st weather block to show a moon phase? thanks gang

Ok. To put the moon info in you need the following lines(this goes in region3,0):

moontime,1,rise,official,213,64,HH:mm,,,l
moontime,1,set,official,213,76,HH:mm,,,l
moontime,1,visible,,198,87,,, % Vis ,l
calcvar,var30,moonphase,1
imagemeter,190,64,%var30%,moon_phases.png,tr,0,7

This calls in all of the different moon info. Just set up the x and y to where you want it.

This is the code to use for the the weather in the rest of the section:

      calcvar,var20,weatherupdatetimediff

      if,var,var20,,<,60
         color,replacement,-1_4_-1,0_0_0
         image,1,0,big_box.png,tr
         color,replacement,-1_6_-1,0_0_0

      changefont,Frutiger Linotype,11,b

         forecasticon,3,146,11,,t
//         forecasticon,4,192,11,,t
         offsetadd,2,2

         button,6,9,32,32,3,4,100,1

         forecast,high,2,143,16,,,r

You might need to adjust a few things here and there. Also, remeber that now you are only asking for 4 days of info. You might also have to remove some of the weather info from further into the skin.

Let me know if you need more help.

great, thanks for the help... I'm not a pro by any longshot so just a few more questions,
when setting up the x and y is there a specific line to edit or add, and how does it read?  I want to put  the moon in spot 1 and remove the weather from spot 1. x and y format for thst i am not sure of

Blazingwolf

You might want to take a look at the skin reference. It is for 10.2 but most of the stuff still pertains. Here is the link:
http://www.dark-mojo.com/todayplus/viewtopic.php?t=3

The x and y for different lines are in the same spot usually but depending on the line it might look different:

moontime,1,rise,official,213,64,HH:mm,,,l
button,51,0,46,54,3,4,200,1

The x and y are bolded in these lines. Hpoe this helps.

ok, slight change, see this image

where the weather icon is on top , next to the calendar, this is where I would like to put the moon phase, not exactly sure where to find the line that pertains to this icon, can you give me an idea where it might be then I can hopefully work from there.. thanks so much

homerjpbody

ok, managed to fing the icon location, removed the current weather icon and current temp, , am not looking for moonrise or set so left those out but put in the moonphase line, however no pic appears there, do I need to make reference somewhere else to these icons, or what ditrectory they are located in or something?  so they wil appear in that spot?
