Icons and Time on Weather page

I'm using Hammerskin 1.05.6 Real VGA on an Axim X50v.  I've got a couple problems/issues:

1.  The weather page time is about 8 hours off.  For example, my sunrise time shows 15:14 and sunset is 01:53.  I set my time for "-8 Pacific" and then for "Local".  No matter which I choose, the time appears to be stuck on some other time zone.

2.  The second problem is on the weather page also.  The area showing local weather information is not displaying properly.  The far left icon shows the current weather icon but it is VERY transparent.  No matter what icon is appears in that position, it is transparent and I can barely see it.  All other icons on all other pages show up just fine.  If I switch cities to check weather in another town, the same icon position is transparent.

3.  If I remove the RSS news feed from the main page, will that space automatically be filled with more calendar data or do I have to tell the calendar to take up more space?  Can I replace the news feed with my tasks list?

4.  Any way to change the size of icons on the main page?  In Real VGA, the icons are very small.  This looks bad and is a waste of space.  I'd like to have a skin, similar to the bar on the right side of the screen, that could then be tied back to the original files.  Anyone have instructions on how to do this?

The sunrise time was determined by the city ID.  What is your first city?  Is this one your home city?  If not, set the first one as your home city.

No, the skin codes need to be changed if you wish to show more agenda item on the main page.

Can you post a screenshot?  I thought the size of icons should be the same.  Are you running any hack, such as SE_VGA or ozVGA?  And I don't see any wrong code to cause the transparency for current weather icon yet.  Wichtel, how about you?

I have two cities listed in my TodayConfig weather page.  The top one is my home city.  Is that all I need to do?  I also have my home city loaded on the time section and it is the only city loaded there.  I set the time to "-8, Pacific" and also tried "-1, Local".  Both settings show the same times for sunrise or sunset, which is 8 - 9 hours later than it should be.  For example, sunrise is 15:30.

I'm using the Hammerskin Real VGA skin, so that's why the icons are so small.  I tried using the basic VGA skin, but it's the exact same as the real VGA skin.  I know that a standard VGA skin would make the icons the correct size, but I can't get that skin to work.

I'll post a picture of the transparent icon as soon as I can.  In the meantime, does anyone know exactly what the settings would be to change the skin so that the News section on the main page disappears and the space is utilized by my calendar?  I would really like to display just one day's worth of calendar info and then tasks underneath that.

You can attach the screenshots to your post, look at the bottom when you
post a message, there you can local search the picture and then add the

That doesn't have to do with the time-settings, you have to add the
location of your home-city in the config.exe (Lat / Lon). For other cities
to show right, you have to put them in the registry via registryeditor.

Take a look at SiggloX' variation, he has also deleted the Newsticker
from the mainpage and used the space to the agenda:

Broesel was right, but I would suggest to make your imgae to 240 x 320 before you post it.  That will save your quota.

What device are you using?  Reading from your post, sounds you are using a VGA device eith either SE_VGA and ozVGA.  If you wish to use the TP under the regular VGA, you need to make both TP.exe and TP.dll "VGA-aware" either by tweaks2k.net or by yourself.

Put a screesnshot will easy for us to help you quicker. You can also go to this link:http://www.jhollin1138.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=12116#12116 and tell me what do you see when you running real_VGA skin on your device.

Yes, I am using SE_VGA on a Dell Axim X50v.

Yes, I have tried the tweak to disable pixel doubling.  It's worked successfully for other programs, but not TodayPlus.  When I downloaded Hammerskin, it included two skins: "VGA" and "Real VGA".  Both display the exact same, so I think there's something wrong with the skin.

I hate to have wasted people's time, but I probably won't be able to use TodayPlus any more.  I love it and it is the perfect plug-in for me.  However, my work proxy doesn't allow me to access the internet using my PDA and cradle.  I can access internet just fine on my PC at work, but I can't use Avantgo, sync my mail, or anything through my PDA.  So when I sync my PDA at work, it tries to update the weather data and only succeeds in erasing everything.  That leaves me with a lot of blank holes on my screen and it looks terrible.

Until I get a job that allows me to sync on the same computer as my schedule, I just can't justify using this program.  Looks like I'll have to go back to Dashboard...

You have a special case man.   ,

Maybe you can try this and see what happen. Go to weather page, click on menu and then click on icons change. This will change the icon type for your weather.

In this Iconset (Deviant) the Icon what you mean is so. There is nothing wrong. Copy the Iconset on your PC and take a look on the Icons, there are more half transparent icons in this set.

You are correct: there are four icons in the Deviant set that are transparent for some reason.  Those just happened to be the icons that showed up for me.
