Scared newbie

First I want to say how wonderful it is that all of you have created the community. I have found a lot of information.

Secondly I would like to own up to having no idea what I am doing. Therefore if I ask a stupid question please forgive me.

Here goes: I have a hp ipaq vga device that I use in landscape mode 640/480. So I wanted to know a few things before I attempted to use TodayPlus

Does TodayPlus work well with wisbar? (the things I have read lead me to say yes)

Can PocketBreeze be one of the icons or does it have to come below today plus?

Do you have to have all the icons on the side? I have seen different skins with different icons. Do the skinners decide what to include?

First of all, welcome to the TP forum !  

As for your questions...

* TP is fine with WisBar..  I use them both together all the time !

* PocketBreeze is also a plugin, so it would have to come below (or above) TP, but you would have to use a reduced TP skin, or you will have scroll bars

* As for the quicklaunch icons, you would choose which icons you want.. This is setup in the config file !!

ZapMe1 would you mind sharing which files you have in which folders to run TP with Wisbar (assume Advance 2?). I would like to run elements of TP with Wisbar so would apprecaite your guidance. I know you have suggested before but was not aware you were running both.

Hi Mark,

TP & WisBar are not related !!  You can setup any theme in WisBar that you like..  As far as folder placement for TP, I have TP running from my SD card..  To do this you need to create a folder on your storage card, and move the following folders to it:
Buffer
Icons
Weather Icons
Images
Skins

In the Main Memory, you will have the TodayPlus folder under the \programs folder..  In this, you must have:
Todayplus.exe
Todayplus.dll
Forecasttext.txt

If you setup this way, don't forget that you have to setup your 'Path' in the config setup file !
