No weather.

i'm using an iPAQ 5555, WM2003 and installed as instructed, my two weather feeds are

city,1,60,USNY0996,NewYork,f
city,2,60,UKXX0085,London,c

Yet, nothing appears when I go to the weather part of TodayPlus, the RSS newsfeeds don't work either, nothing is synced and nothing is in the Buffer directory either.

Otherwise, this is really nice.

please help

Looks like you are not getting out to the internet.  Are you behind a proxy or a firewall?

sanjsrik

Sorry for posting the message in the wrong place, I noticed you moved it.

I'm behind a company firewall, I can enter the information if there's somewhere in the program to enter it into.

You have the same problem as I have.   :(

As this moment, there's no way to tell TodayPlus to use a specific a proxy server other than what's set on the PPC, and still, you can't pass the username/password.

You need to have a direct connection to the internet for the program to get the data.

Which is strange bc my work settings for connecting via my work network has the proxy address and port entered.  I can see the Internet from my PPC when cradled, but this program doesn't work so I don't think it's a proxy problem that isn't indicated in my PPC.

I guess we need a separate way of indicating this in the todayplus program?

You might like to see my response to this other thread.  I had a similar sounding problem for a while.

Still no help, my admins wont' let me use it here, ugh, just want to get this program to show weather and news updates would be nice if I could get it to work.  Seems like a great program, I like what I see so far, gotta' love work firewalls.
