Disappearing Region

This is my first day using TodayPlus, so bear with me.  First, when I saw this I squealed like a little schoolgirl in delight.  My girlfriend was most surprised...

Anyway, I'm having an odd problem.  I've added the launcher, and weather, and now I'm trying to add POOM info.  So I've created a new region with PI shortcuts as a start.  But no shortcuts show up.  Even stranger, I added some text in various places to try to troubleshoot.  When I refresh the plugin, the text appears, then immediately disappears.  Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

PS, yes, most parts of my skin file are blatantly stolen from other places, and I thank the authors.

region 10 doesnt have any offsetadds so when the height of the plugin is calculated region 10 will be cut
