Help with setting up TodayPlus

I really like the look of TP and wish I could understand how it worked!  Unfortunately I have had to remove it after many frustrating hours of trying to work out how to get the basic setup fixed.

I have successfully changed weather city and even changed weather icons, so I have made progress on some bits.

The things I can't figure out ...

(1) The thing keeps freezing (have to soft reboot).  For example, all I did this morning was press the little button to show the menu options and it froze. If I don't reboot the device freezes and disconnects from the PC.  Also it often gives 'fatal error' type messages and again a reboot is needed.  It also then comes up with a 'trouble connecting' error which won't go away and which I have NEVER had other than when I have TP running.

(2) How do I set the default display options?  I have downloaded the calendarplus skin and this 'seems' to have worked.  However I want the agenda to display by default rather than the meters (battery, memory, etc).

(3) I don't understand whtat all the menu buttons do (e.g. the up/down arrow, the recycle/refersh type icon, etc)

Any help would be apprecitated then I can go back and try again!

Thanks

You need to make the following changes to the skin file:

initregion,8,999
initregion,11,0

These will be located at the beginning of the skin file.

When the arrow is up, the world clock section, rss section, and weather sections will occupy one area only.  That is, only one of these can be open at a given time because they occupy the same area.  When the arrow is down, you can have them all open at the same time (stacked one on top of the other).

The refresh button will refresh your weather and rss feeds.

Hope that helped.  I'm new to TodayPlus as well, and love it more everyday![/quote]
