Moving the buffer directory

After sync'ing this morning, I notice that my buffer subdirectory has 2MB in it; is there any way to relocate it to my storage card?

I'd like to be able to locate the buffer files on a storage card, too.  Is this possible or in the works?

Currently you can not specify where the buffer is located (or any other folders for that matter, i.e. image and skin folders).  It has been requested before, however, and srs has put it on his To Do list.
