How to change JPG to PNG

Hi, i am not good in PPC nor PC. I download TP and find it great. I am thinking of changing the elephant pic (PNG) with my own pic. But i just can't seems to do it. Please advise how i change my own pic to png format and how i reduce the size.

You can use your picture without any conversion too. Just edit the skin file and replace elephant.png with yourfile.jpg

If you really want to convert the file, simplest way would be to open it in Microsoft Paint and then choose save as and select PNG as file type.

Download and try Irfanview. It is FREE, and will convert sizes/formats of images. It works very well.

Thks for the advise. Now i have another problem. Seems like my pic is too big. How i reduce the size to the "elephant" size?

The best way is with PhotoShop, first import the elephant.png just to see the size. Now that you know the size bring the other picture into PhotoShop and resize to the same as Elephant.png.
