Calendar Problem

I'm having a problem with the calendar code on the main page.  For some reason, it's shows 7 weeks being drawn on the page.  In other words, if there are 5 weeks in the month, like February, I have 2 extra weeks to tap on.  If there are 6 weeks in the month, like January, I have an extra week beneath the last seen digits.  Has anyone seen this before and how can I correct this?  Here is the code that I'm using but I don't know if it's the whole story.
