Cancel refresh?

Is there a way to cancel the refresh in TodayPlus?  Sometimes I notice it is dialing the internet via my Bluetooth GPRS phone, which I don't wnat.  It's too expensive to have it updating through GPRS.

So... can I make it stop refreshing manually somehow.  Or make it refresh only at certain time?  Or when in the cradle?

I don't think there is currently any way to do this, but you can see from the following post that srs is considering how to implement it.
